CRIME LOG: Teen Allegedly Threatens Grandparent

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Courtney B. Barrett, 42, of Manchester, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. on March 23, on a bench warrant for bail jumping. He was arrested by the Manchester Police Department and picked up by a Concord officer. Barrett was arraigned on April 14.

Arianna Beaulieu, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. on March 25, on a bench warrant. While on Green Street an officer ran a plate on Subaru that appeared to be missing a piece of its exhaust. The check yielded that Beaulieu had an active warrant out of Franklin District Court, with $261 cash to settle. The car was stopped at North State and Capitol streets and she was arrested. She refused bail and was arraigned on March 26.

Irina B. Britten, 54, of Penacook, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. on March 28, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers from Concord and Boscawen were called to Elm Street in Pencook for a domestic between a husband and wife. As the reporting officer approached the door of the house, a man was being pulled from the door by a woman and the door then slammed. The man ended up exiting from another door and spoke to the officer. The woman, Britten, was allegedly “emotional and began speaking quickly and loudly.” The man stated that he had just returned home from a business trip and his wife grabbed his phone and saw messages, and then allegedly “became angry and started slapping and clawing at his head.” The two were asked to write statements and later, Britten was arrested. She had a court date on May 5.

David Paul MacDonald, 34, of Concord, was arrested at 7:46 a.m. on March 29, on a false inspection or registration sticker charge. While watching traffic on Loudon Road, an officer saw a Chevrolet pickup truck with a light colored inspection sticker. The officer caught up with the vehicle outside of Goodwill on Loudon Road. The officer spoke to MacDonald about his registration and inspection sticker and he allegedly was “shaky” and “nervous.” The officer alleged that the inspection sticker “appeared to be fake,” with smudged ink as if it were done on a printer. MacDonald was later arrested and was arraigned on May 5.

Colton James Squeglia, 17, of Concord, was arrested at 1:02 p.m. on March 30, on a criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.). Officers were dispatched to 69 Manchester Street for a domestic where a grandparent alleged that Squeglia was “flipping out.” The officers spoke to all involved and it was alleged that Squeglia threatened to hurt an individual. Witnesses corroborated the allegation and he was arrested. Squeglia allegedly “pestered” the officer during processing and stated he didn’t understand why he was being arrested. He was arraigned on April 2.

Charles Aaron Dexter, 26, of Concord, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. on March 30, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal mischief (vandalism). An officer was sent to Branch Turnpike for a domestic between a woman and her ex-boyfriend, Dexter. The woman alleged that Dexter was upset with her about money and they had a fight in the parking lot. Dexter allegedly backed up his car and pumped an open door into the woman. The two began arguing about her dog and Dexter allegedly threw the dog. The woman began to tussle with Dexter and he allegedly struck her in the head three times, broke her glasses, and later, drove off. While the officer was speaking with her, Dexter reportedly called and the officer spoke with him about the incident. Officers later went to speak with him and he explained his side, reportedly denying the assault, and he was arrested. He also received a summons for operating without due care. Dexter will be arraigned on May 12.

Jeremy Neil Slack, 37, of Concord, was arrested at 8:57 p.m. on March 30, on a felony escape charge. Officers received a Crimeline tip that Slack, who was a walkaway from the North End House on North State Street, was in an apartment on Rumford Street. He was originally arrested on a larceny charge. Officers began knocking on doors on the apartment building and later, found the apartment he was in and arrested him. He was then handed over to the New Hampshire State Prison.

Dean M. Smith, 23, of Epsom, was arrested at 8:18 a.m. on March 31, on a habitual offender felony charge. An officer running radar on Spring Hill Drive saw a Chevrolet pickup truck at 46 mph in a 30 zone. The vehicle was stopped on Old Turnpike Road. The driver, Smith, reportedly didn’t have his license. DMV, however, reported that his license was revoked in July 2013. “I confronted him with this information and he said he knew it,” the officer alleged. “He said he only drives for work.” Smith was arrested and was cited for speeding. He was arraigned on April 21.

Jason McCormick, 37, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 9 a.m. on March 31, on a passing of items to or from the occupant of a motor vehicle charge. An officer was called to deal with a panhandler at the Exit 14 I-93 southbound off ramp. A sergeant and officer alleged that the person, McCormick, stepped into the road to take an item from the driver. He was warned not to on March 20. He’s due in court on May 19.

Herbert N. Thibeault, 50, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 1:03 p.m. on March 31, on a passing of items to or from the occupant of a motor vehicle charge. An officer saw a panhandler at the Exit 14 I-93 southbound off ramp holding a sign and later, walk into the roadway. The officer recognized Thibeault, who had been warned several times not to walk in the road. He was cited and is due in court on May 19.

David A. Norton, 41, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 2:23 p.m. on March 31, on a passing of items to or from the occupant of a motor vehicle charge. While at the entrance of the Buffalo Wild Wings, an officer saw Norton holding a sign and allegedly walk into the roadway to take an item from a vehicle. He was warned not to on Feb. 26. He’s due in court on May 19.

Derek Scott Hunter, 32, of Concord, was arrested at 2:08 p.m. on April 1, on a bench warrant for nonappearance in court on March 26. He turned himself in to police and had a court date on April 23. Hunter was also given a no trespass letter prohibiting from entering Susana’s Sewing Sutdio on Warren Street.
