Concord Teens Caught Up In Theft Charges

Concord Police: One teen pawned video games and an Xbox while the other took the cash to support his habit.

CONCORD, NH — Two local teens with a history of criminal activity are facing more charges after a theft incident last year. Frederick E. Estes IV, 17, of Concord, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. on Feb. 11, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge. Arianna Beaulieu, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. on Feb. 4, on two receiving stolen property charges.

According to a court affidavit and arrest reports, back on Jan. 16, police questioned Beaulieu about how she obtained an Xbox gaming system and games from a home on Myrtle Street that were later pawned at Game Stop stores on Fort Eddy Road and the Steeplegate Mall on Dec. 8, 2013. She allegedly told the officer that Estes picked them up and she sold them for him because he was “not old enough to sell them.” Beaulieu reportedly stated that after she pawned the items, she gave the cash to Estes.

On Feb. 1, the officer went to the Merrimack County House of Corrections where Estes was being held on another criminal matter. Estes reportedly waived his Miranda rights and spoke to the officer. During this interaction, he allegedly admitted to stealing the items.

“Ya, I stole their sh-t,” he stated, according to the report. “I had a habit to support.”

Estes reportedly told the officer that the family was letting him stay at the house because he was homeless. During one of the times he stayed there, after the family left, he reportedly went into his friend’s younger brother’s bedroom and stole the items.

Estes was charged and arraigned remotely the next day.

A warrant was put out for Beaulieu who was later arrested after an officer found her vehicle at the Alton Woods apartment complex on Loudon Road. She had a court date on March 10.

Last September, Estes was arrested on a bench warrant for nonappearance in court.

Beaulieu was arrested in 2012 at Concord High School on a drug charge. She was also arrested in January on a theft charge from Shaw’s.
