Concord High Student Faces Drug Charge

Two staffers reportedly were witnesses in the case.

A Concord High School student is facing a felony drug charge after an investigation into an alleged possession incident on school grounds.

Arianna Beaulieu, 17, of Concord, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. on Sept. 27, and charged with possession of controlled drugs, a felony.

According to a Concord Police Department arrest report, Beaulieu was allegedly caught in possession of four 30 mg Adderal capsules. Two Concord High School staffers reportedly witnessed the possession incident at 11:10 a.m. on Sept. 13, on the campus of the school. Two weeks later, she was arrested.

Adderall is the brand name for a psycho stimulant in the amphetamine chemical class that is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy, according to online medical journals.

Beaulieu was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 29.
