ARRESTS: Concord Woman Faces Attempted Second-Degree Assault Charge

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Young, 17, of Lebanon, was arrested on July 29, and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and possession and use of tobacco products by minors. He was arrested at 4:57 a.m. on South Street. Police allege that he was in possession of Copenhagen chewing tobacco. Later in the day, Young was arrested and charged with theft, based on an alleged incident at the on Fort Eddy Road on May 15. Police allege that he stole $208.95 worth of groceries at the time. Young had a court date on Sept. 10.
  • Melanie J. Georgoudis, 19, of Waltham, Mass., was arrested on Aug. 5, and charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding. She was arrested at 1:51 a.m. outside the New Hampshire Army National Guard headquarters on Minuteman Way off Airport Road. According to an arrest report, two blood tubes were drawn from Georgoudis and taken into evidence. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Georgoudis is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 17.
  • , 18, of Concord, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 12, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 11 p.m. on June 20, at on North Main Street. Police allege that stole $285 worth of cash from a Concord woman who was an acquaintance. She refused bail and had a court date on Aug. 13.
  • Andrew Stout, 47, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 13, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. He was arrested at 5:58 p.m. about an hour after an alleged incident on Elm Street in Penacook. The alleged victim was his teenage daughter. Police seized a Glock 9 mm handgun, two rifles, and various amounts of ammunition from the household. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Stout is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 17.
  • Bryant, 50, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 16, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. He was arrested at 7:03 p.m. after an alleged incident earlier in the evening at North Main Street. Bryant was not offered bail and had a court date on Aug. 17.
  • , 19, of Concord, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 17, on two counts of criminal trespass. The charges stem from alleged incidents at Royal Concord Gardens on July 29, and Aug. 2. As evidence in the case, police reported photo line up identification from two witnesses, according to an arrest report. refused bail and had a court date on Aug. 17.
  • Angela J. Syms, 29, of Concord, was arrested at 7:48 a.m. on Aug. 18, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and attempt to commit second-degree assault, a felony. The charges stem from an alleged incident at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 17, at Heartwood Lane. The alleged victim in the case was Syms boyfriend, a Concord man. Personal recognizance bail was set at $10,000. Syms is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 24.
  • Charles Aaron Dexter, 25, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 18, on a criminal mischief (vandalism) charge. He was arrested at 5:41 p.m. on Thorndike Street. The alleged victim in the case was a Webster man. Police allege that Dexter destroyed or damaged a storm window, valued at $100. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Dexter is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 24.
  • Buffum, 32, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 18, and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest or detention. He was arrested at 7:54 p.m. at the intersection of Bradley and Franklin streets. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Buffum is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 24.
  • , 28, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 18, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. He was arrested at 8:10 p.m. about 20 minutes after an alleged incident at Broadway. He had a court date on Aug. 20.
  • Rebecca J. Powell, 33, of Concord, was arrested at 6 p.m. on Aug. 19, on a possession of controlled drugs charge. Police allege that she had marijuana in a small Mason jar, a metal grinder, a glass water bong, and a multi-colored smoking device. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Powell is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 24.
  • Timothy Furlow, 38, of Concord, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. on Aug. 19, on three counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. The alleged incidents occurred between 8 and 8:20 a.m. on Aug. 5, at on South Street. Police allege that Furlow stole $840. Personal recognizance bail was set at $3,000. Furlow is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 17.
  • Justin Veverka, 32, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 19, on a bench warrant from the state of New Hampshire for operating after suspension. He was arrested at 9:33 a.m. on Penacook Street. Cash bail was set at $500. Veverka is due in court on Sept. 25.
  • Samuel E. Kleinschmidt, 25, of Concord, was issued a summons at 8:52 p.m. on Aug. 19, on a dog a menace, nuisance or vicious charge, after an alleged incident earlier in the evening on Washington Street. He is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct 8.
