CRIME LOG: Homeless People in a Train Car Face Trespassing Charges

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Dylon J. Montminy, 22, of Concord, received a summons at 9:15 a.m. on March 25, 2014, for driving after revocation or suspension and speeding. Montminy was reportedly clocked driving 42 in a 30 mph on Mountain Road. When stopped, it was revealed his license was suspended on March 9, for defaulting on a court summons. He had a court date on April 28.

Jeffrey Marsh, 32, of Concord, was arrested at 3 p.m. on March 26, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. An officer was called to an apartment on East Side Drive for a domestic, with a man alleging that his wife had “chased him around the apartment with a butcher knife.” Upon arrival, the officer spoke to a woman who reported that the couple had been fighting and while emptying a dishwasher, she had taken a knife out but had not threatened her husband with it. The two, however, started throwing dishes around, and later, the wife alleged that Marsh had “dumped soda on her head.” Marsh later returned to the apartment after picking up their kids. He denied throwing dishes but did admit to pouring the soda on his wife’s head and he was arrested. He had a court date on May 5.

Justin Small, 27, of Concord, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. on March 26, on two simple assault (personal weapons) charges as well as a criminal mischief (vandalism) and criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.). A detective and officer were called to a domestic between a father and son on Pleasant Street. The parties were separated and were asked about what was going on. The son, Small, reportedly stated that the two were fighting about the care for his daughter. The father alleged that “Justin had been drinking all day and was extremely argumentative,” according to the report. The father also stated that he didn’t raise his son to be this way. Small then allegedly threw the television remote against the wall and “aggressively walked toward” his father and allegedly grabbed his shirt and tore it. Small was then arrested. During processing, Small was initially calm and then allegedly became angry. He allegedly called the bail commissioner a gay slur and later told him to “f--k off.” Later, Small allegedly threatened the bail commissioner. He was held and arraigned the next day.

Cory James Salvas, 25, of Concord, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. on March 26, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers were called to Pierce Street for a domestic disturbance involving a man spitting on his father. Upon arrival, the officers spoke to the parties involved. The father alleged that his son, Salvas, spat on him. The son stated that the two were arguing over whether or not a friend of his was welcome in the home. After the friend arrived, the two got into an argument. Salvas denied assaulting his father, stating his spat on the floor. The officer alleged that Salvas “stuttered” during his explanation, and his “voice was shaky and he appeared to be nervous” during the denial. He was later arrested and had a court date on May 5.

Brittany Greene, 18, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:53 a.m. on March 27, on a warrant. Brittany Taylor, unknown address, was arrested at 9:53 a.m. on March 27, on a warrant. While on Pleasant Street, an officer ran a check on a temporary plate on a Honda Civic and it came back that the driver’s license and registrations were suspended and she had an active warrant. The car was stopped on Loudon Road near the I-93 North onramp. Greene reportedly didn’t have a license. Taylor, a passenger in the vehicle, also had an active warrant. Both warrants were out of Claremont and they were both arrested.

Joshua Dennis Taylor, 42, of Concord, was arrested at 12:29 p.m. on March 28, on a bench warrant. While on another call, an officer came into contact with Taylor who had a warrant on a conduct after an accident charge. He was arrested and had a court date on April 28.

Martin Toe, 17, of Concord, received a summons at 11:34 p.m. on March 28, for operating without a valid license. While on North State Street, a Hyundai Accent passed by an officer with only its lights on and was driving a bit slow. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Toe, reportedly didn’t have a license. He allegedly told the officer that his sister needed something so he decided to take the car and go to a friend’s house to help out. His mother later came to pick him up and he was given a summons. Toe had a court date on May 5.

Mark P. Lesniak, 39, of Concord, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. on March 29, on a felony possession of controlled drugs charge. An officer noticed a panhandler standing in a traffic median on the L.L. Bean property and went over to speak to the person, Lesniak. The officer ran his name through dispatch and he had an active warrant for possession of a controlled drug from April 3, at the Fellowship Apartments on Allison Street. Lesniak was arrested. During an inventory search, an officer allegedly found spice in his jacket pocket. He had a court date on May 5.

Jason McCormick, 37, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. on March 29, on a bench warrant. An officer was parked on Storrs Street near the railroad tracks, saw three subjects walking along the tracks, and spoke with them. One, McCormick, had an electronic bench warrant out of Concord District Court from March 26, with $302.50 cash to settle. He was arrested and had a court date on April 18.

John Jellue, 18, of Concord, received a summons at 8:08 p.m. on March 29, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. Officers were called to Sears on Loudon Road for a shoplifting call. A store employee alleged that Jellue stole earrings from the store, valuted at $35. He later allegedly admitted to stealing the jewelry in a written statement. He was arraigned in court on April 28.

Jasmine C. Boudreau, 35, of Loudon, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. on March 29, on a bench warrant. Officers were called to Walmart on Loudon Road for a report of teenagers causing problems in the store and a couple acting suspicious. The teens had dispersed prior to the police getting there. According to the store manager, the couple walked through the store and appeared to be “matching items” with old receipts, including some watches. The officer spoke with the woman, Boudreau, who stated that she was returning items she had receipts that didn’t have tags and she was told by an associate to find the items so the UPC codes could be scanned. An associate confirmed this later, according to the report. The couple’s names were checked and Boudreau came back with a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer warrant from Jan. 6, for nonappearance in court and she was arrested. Previously, Boudreau was arrested on Dec. 14, 2013, at Hannaford for allegedly concealing items in her purse. Boudreau was arraigned on May 5.

Patrick J. Talbot, 37, of Concord, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. on March 30, on a bench warrant. Police were called to Concord Hospital to arrest Talbot who was wanted for nonpayment of fines on Jan. 20, $577.75 cash to settle. He was arrested and held without bail. Talbot was arraigned on March 31.

The following homeless people received summonses for criminal trespass at 8:16 p.m. on March 30: Wayne Eastman, Craig Laber, Shaune Milligan, Susan Marston, Janet Smith, and Shelby Weston. An officer was called to Higgins Place for people allegedly trespassing and found two people on the railroad tracks and four more inside a train car that was marked with “no trespassing” signs. The car was filled with trash, according to the officer. They all had court dates on May 5.
