CRIME LOG: Teen Arrested After Dumping Coffee on His Brother

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Christopher Robert Hicks Jr., 24, of Hillsboro, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 21, on a bench warrant. While on Airport Road, an officer clocked a vehicle going 48 mph in a 30 zone. The vehicle was unregistered and stopped on Mulberry Road. The passenger, Hicks, had an active warrant out of Hooksett District Court on Jan. 3, for nonappearance in court on a DWI charge with $750 cash bail. He was arrested and arraigned on Jan. 22.

Susanne G. Walter, 42, of Concord, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. on Jan. 21, and charged with conduct after an accident. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Jan. 12, on Charles Street in Penacook. She’s due in court on March 3.

Jacob A. Lewis-Hamel, 23, of Manchester, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 21, on possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs charges. While traveling east on Centre Street an officer noticed a vehicle approaching the street from North Spring “at a high rate of speed.” The vehicle didn’t stop and turned onto Centre. The officer followed the Toyota Avalon and reported that it “swerved to the right of the lane it was in, very close to the vehicle in the lane to the right.” The officer followed the car along Loudon Road to Gully Hill Road and alleged it reached speeds of up to 43 mph before it was pulled over. The officer approached the vehicle and “was immediately overtaken by the distinct odor of unburnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.” While speaking with the driver, Lewis-Hamel, the officer learned that the driver and passengers were coming from a basketball game at the Green Street Community Center. When asked about the marijuana smell, Lewis-Hamel reported denied smoking marijuana and then reportedly denied smoking that day. The officer then spoke to the passengers about the marijuana smell and went back to speaking with Lewis-Hamel. Later, he allegedly admitted there was marijuana in a backpack. Lewis-Hamel was arrested and is due in court on March 3.

Jesse D. Hoagland, 24, of Loudon, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. on Jan. 22, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension, suspended registration (operating-misd), and driver's license prohibitions. An officer observed a gray 2003 GMC pickup on South Main Street with a license plate light that appeared to be out and pulled the truck over outside of Nadeau’s Sub Shop on South Main Street. The driver, Hoagland, according to dispatch, had a suspended license and was arrested. He also received a summons for uninspected vehicle and a warning for defective equipment/plate light. Hoagland has a court date on March 3.

Stacey Jean Thurston, 28, of Concord, was arrested at 12:46 p.m. on Jan. 22, and charged with suspended registration (operating-misd) and driving after revocation or suspension. While monitoring traffic at the Lun Hing on Fisherville Road, an officer reportedly checked a vehicle and found that the owner had a suspended license and registration for default court summons. The car was stopped on Bog Road and the driver, Thurston, was arrested. She’s due in court on March 3.

Jacob C. Mason, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 1 p.m. on Jan. 22, and charged with two counts of simple assault. An officer was called to East Side Drive for a fight between two brothers. The officer met with one brother in the parking lot who alleged that the other brother threw coffee on him. The officer noted that his pants were wet. The officer went to speak with the other brother, Mason, as well as a sister who explained that the three of them were arguing about living arrangements. During the ruckus, Mason allegedly picked up a coffee and dumped it on the victim. He’s due in court on March 3.

Brandon James Abbott, 20, of Concord, was arrested at 4:28 p.m. on Jan. 22, on three theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charges. The thefts stem from alleged incidents on Aug. 16, and Aug. 23, 2013, at the Dunkin’ Donuts on South Main Street. Abbott allegedly stole two paychecks valued at about $550. He’s due in court on March 3.

Jason McCormick, 37, a homeless man located in Concord, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. on Jan. 22, on a bench warrant. While on North Main Street, an officer saw McCormick and knew he had an active warrant and arrested him. The warrant was out of Nashua District Court on Jan. 21, for failure to appear on a criminal trespass charge, with $100 cash bail. McCormick refused bail and was arraigned on Jan. 24.

Daniel Lewis Prescott, 24, of Concord, was arrested at 8:20 a.m. on Jan. 23, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons), endangering the welfare of a child/incompetent, criminal mischief (vandalism), and driving after revocation or suspension. Officers were called to Alice Drive for a domestic. Upon arrival they spoke with Prescott who allegedly said the incident “isn’t anything” although other reports stated that there was “yelling and screaming going on” from the household. Prescott had an active warrant for nonpayment of fines, with $820 cash to settle, and was arrested. Later, after investigating the incident, more charges were added.

Travis M. Pelletier, 22, of Loudon, received a summons at 11:51 a.m. on Jan. 23, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. Pelletier was allegedly pulled over on North State Street while driving. Dispatch stated that his license was suspended on Jan. 3, for default court summons out of Concord District Court. Pelletier reportedly denied having a suspended license and was released on a summons.

Ashton Everrett Garland, 22, of Concord, was arrested at 10:18 a.m. on Jan. 24, on two bench warrants. An officer saw Garland walking on Loudon Road and checked to see if he had warrants and two came up out of Concord District Court. He was arrested and had a court date on Feb. 24.

Tiffany N. Rudolph, 25, of Epsom, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. on Jan. 24, on felony theft by deception and receiving stolen property charges. The charges stem from alleged incidents on Sept. 18, 2013, at the Speers Fine Jewelry on North Main Street involving a diamond ring valued at $9,000 and $875 in cash. Rudolph is due in court on March 3. 

Sarah E. Breau, 26, of Concord, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 24, on a bench warrant. Officers were called to Village Street for a report of criminal mischief and were informed by dispatch that Breau had an outstanding warrant for operating without a valid license. She had a court date on Feb. 24.

Allayn Corinne Ferry, 57, of Webster, was arrested at 4:18 a.m. on Jan. 25, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration (operating-misd). While driving on Borough Road, an officer clocked a Jeep Cherokee going 42 mph in a 30 zone. The SUV was stopped at the intersection of River Road and Island Road. The driver, Ferry, was delivering newspapers, according to the officer. Dispatch revealed that her registration and license were suspended, and she was arrested. Ferry, according to the report, was convicted of operating after suspension in Concord District Court on Sept. 19, 2013, and her license was suspended by DMV for default court summons. She was also cited for speeding. She’s due in court on March 3.

Eric M. Betts, 25, a homeless man located in Concord, was arrested at 3:27 a.m. on Jan. 25, on a bench warrant. While patrolling the area connected to another incident, an officer spoke with Betts and found out that he had an electronic bench warrant out of Franklin District Court from Oct. 18, 2013, with $206.67 cash to settle, on nonpayment of fines from a speeding charge. He had a court date on Jan. 27.
