LOG: Woman Arrested for Reckless Conduct Claims Her Car Can Fly

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Michael D. Gruette, 36, of Concord, was arrested at 6:08 a.m. on March 2, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Police were called to an apartment on North State Street for a domestic disturbance. A caller stated, “The neighbors are fighting again and the female is yelling, ‘Don’t touch me.’” The parties were separated and the woman was “elusive and unclear” but had marks on her neck and an injury to her hand. The man, Gruette, allegedly denied touching the woman but then said he tried to pull her hand to get her medical care. He also allegedly admitted to grabbing her sweatshirt. A computer was also knocked over during the tussle, according to the report. He was later arrested and had a court date on March 31.

Brent Lewis Keyser, 28, of Concord, was arrested at 6:11 a.m. on March 4, on a disorderly conduct charge from Feb. 19, at the intersection of Verbena Way and Woodbine Drive. Officers served a warrant to Keyser at his home on Larkspur Place. He had a court date on April 7.

Morgan L. Cheney, 32, of Concord, was arrested at 12:38 p.m. on March 4, on a willful concealment charge from Joe King’s Shoes on North Main Street on Jan. 9. She turned herself in to police was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. She has a court date on April 14.

Kyle Mark Willette, 19, of Concord, was arrested at 3:32 p.m. on March 4, on a bench warrant. Breanna Fields was also arrested, according to the report, but no information was reported about the arrest. Officers were called to the Walmart on Loudon Road for a report of two people in the store who had active trespass notices. One, Willette, had an active warrant out of Exeter District Court from Feb. 24, with $1,000 cash bail. He was held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections and arraigned on March 5.

Elaine Nichols, 51, of Warner, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. on March 5, on a reckless operation charge. An officer on Loudon Road reportedly saw a vehicle pulling into the Dollar Tree store parking lot “at a high rate of speed.” As the officer walked to the vehicle, the woman, Nichols, allegedly “turned up the radio in the vehicle and began swearing at me,” the officer wrote. She alleged stated that the police and court were “corrupt” but agreed to shut of the car’s engine. A bit later, Nichols reportedly acted “very cooperative and friendly” and handed over her license and registration. She denied drinking or taking medication, the officer noted. Another officer arrived and Nichols allegedly began swearing and yelling again and she was taken into custody and charged. During processing, the officer alleged that Nichols “talked about her car refueling itself and how it flies it itself. She said that you put it in a gear and it just goes.” The officer noted that Nichols requested a piece of paper and wrote, “The poison ref ants. Eat the Metal. Anything made that has been 100% new is in fresh air Turning to bugs. When I saw the movie w/the rocket explosive if it didn’t leave. Remember police, don’t lie up hold the law. Never talk or use another hoker.” She allegedly admitted to previous arrests and medical attention, according to the report. Nichols was arraigned on March 19.

Melissa Ashley Monette, 21, of Concord, received a summons at 10 a.m. on March 5, on an operating without a valid license charge. An officer was called to an accident at the intersection of Kozy Terrace and Crestwood Drive. One of the drivers, Monette, allegedly admitted that she was operating the vehicle without a valid license. Dispatch confirmed that she had a pending driver’s license. She’s due in court on April 14.

Albert J. Yeaton, 88, of Epsom, received a summons at 6:50 p.m. on March 5, on a driver to exercise due care violation. The charge stems from an alleged incident outside Presidential Oaks on Feb. 21.

Thomas Henry Chamberland, a homeless man now located in Manchester, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. on March 5, and charged with two counts of felony burglary and four counts of criminal mischief (vandalism). The charges were based on alleged incidents on Feb. 9, at the Supercuts on Loudon Road and the Yellow Submarine II on Loudon Road. In the Supercuts case, police allegedly gathered evidence of a break-in, including a pried fire door and damaged surveillance camera. They allegedly found burglary tools and other items in a vehicle. In the Yellow Submarine case, a cash register was damaged and $450 was taken. Chamberland was arrested by Boscawen Police and held on $12,000 cash bail. He was arraigned on March 6.

Raymond Leslie Locke, 67, of Concord, was arrested at 10:26 a.m. on March 6, on a bench warrant. Locke was arrested at the Concord Homeless Outreach Center on South State Street. He had a warrant out of Concord District Court and was arraigned on March 7.

Jason McCormick, 37, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on March 6, on two bench warrants. He was arrested at Concord Hospital. The warrants were out of Nashua District Court from Feb. 20, for a criminal trespass charge, and Concord District Court on March 5, for a criminal mischief charge, $302.50 cash. He didn’t have the cash to make bail and was held.

Zachery Allen Griffith, 20, of Penacook, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. on March 6, on a duty to report felony charge from Feb. 1. He turned himself in and was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. Griffith had a court date on March 31.
