ARRESTS: Man Faces Felony Forgery, Theft Charges

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Nathan Peter Ledoux, 25, of Manchester, was arrested at 4:05 a.m. on Jan. 28, on a willful concealment charge from Sept. 23, 2013, at the Hannaford Supermarket on Fort Eddy Road, allegedly involving about $80 worth of groceries. At around 6 p.m. on the day in question, officers were called to Hannaford for an attempted theft. Dispatch reported that a young white male with a lot of tattoos attempted to steal beer but later fled the area. The officers got to the store and spoke with an employee who gave them information about the theft. The employee alleged that the man placed items into two bags inside a cart. The man later allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. As he was approached by an employee, he ran away toward Uno’s. A few days later, the reporting officer received a receipt from the store for the items and footage from video at the store and “immediately recognized the male” to be Ledoux. A warrant was taken out for his arrest on Oct. 11, 2013. Ledoux was being held in the Hillsborough County House of Corrections on unrelated charges issued by the Manchester Police when arrested this time and was arraigned on Jan. 28.

Paul Eric Voight, 45, of Concord, was arrested at 10:11 a.m. on Jan. 30, and charged with theft by deception, forgery, and receiving stolen property, all felonies. The charges involved an alleged incident on May 20, 2013, involving a check for $250 cashed at the Sovereign Bank on North State Street and $400 in cash, all owned by a woman from Hillsborough. According to a court affidavit, the officer looked into the case after the woman reported it to police. The woman stated that Voight had been staying at her place and she alleged he may have stolen a check. The signature on the check didn’t match the woman’s. Video footage from the bank only caught the color and make of the vehicle of the person cashing the check, not the license plate. Hillsborough Police said Voight was on probation and they had spoken to him about the incident but he allegedly denied taking the check. However, the officer spoke to a woman who alleged that Voight gave her the stolen check. In July, the officer noted that Voight was being held on a detention order at the Merrimack County House of Corrections, on an unrelated case. The officer visited with Voight and he alleged that the woman he was with in May forged the check. He alleged she spent the money on drugs. When asked if he stole the check though, Voight allegedly wouldn't answer, saying that it might incriminate himself. Voight was later charged and arraigned on Jan. 31.

Debbie Gilmore, 44, of Concord, was arrested at 4:54 p.m. on Jan. 30, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. An officer was sent to the Vegas Apartments on North Main Street to assist Concord Fire and Rescue teams with a medical call. After arriving, the officer noted that Gilmore was speaking with a firefighter and allegedly “appeared to be highly intoxicated” and becoming agitated. The officer then alleged that Gilmore pushed the firefighter. “Gilmore could not walk without assistance and was aggressive, claiming she did not do anything wrong,” the officer alleged after arresting her. While speaking with Gilmore, the officer alleged that she said, “What was I supposed to do? The ---ker was in my way!” She was held without bail and arraigned the next day.

The man, Mills, was found on the north side of the church’s parking lot, on the ground, with his pants “saturated with an unknown liquid.” Officers attempted to speak to Mills but he was allegedly “completely incapacitated and incoherent.” The officers were trying to take him into protective custody and Mills allegedly resisted and later, officers took him down to the ground to gain control of him. Vanessa Marie Fortin, 21, of Concord, was arrested at 2:23 a.m. on Feb. 2, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal mischief (vandalism).
