The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Jon Alan Daigle, 26, of Concord, was arrested at 4:11 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2013, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and disobeying an officer. A second officer was called to a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Loudon Road and Bridge Street. The driver had allegedly given a false name of “Chris Daigle” to police and was allowed to leave the traffic stop. Just as he pulled away in a 2003 Honda CRV, dispatch asked to clarify the name of the driver, since another driver, Jon Daigle, had a suspended license. The officers went to Garvins Falls Road and caught up with Daigle to double-check the name. When asked, Daigle again allegedly stated that his name was “Chris,” not Jon. The officer asked again, and “Daigle then became truthful and stated that his name was in fact Jon Daigle,” the officer alleged. He was arrested and held without bail.

Brian Lavoie, 17, of Concord, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2013, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal mischief. Officers were called to a domestic on Millstream Lane between Lavoie and his parents. The reporting officer said he was familiar with the case and noted that Lavoie had been missing several times in recent weeks and was still in the NCIC system as missing. At about an hour before, the mother told the officer, Lavoie allegedly returned home, made a phone call, and then left again. About a half an hour later, Lavoie allegedly returned and demanded his cellphone and iPod from his parents, items that had been taken from him. Lavoie then went upstairs to his parent’s room and allegedly damaged their bedroom door, attempting to gain access to the room to get the items. The officer went up and examined the doorframe damage as well as a hole in the wall at the top of the stairs. Lavoie then allegedly began tussling with his father and then, left the home. Later, Lavoie showed up at the front door of the home and the officer spoke with the teen. The officer asked Lavoie what was going on and he allegedly said, “I want my phone and iPod back.” The officer asked Lavoie if he should be given the items back, considering the way he was behaving. Lavoie allegedly said, “I don’t care. They are mine and I want them.” When asked for his side of the story, Lavoie allegedly stated, “Whatever they said.” He was arrested and held without bail.

Timothy R. Murray, 30, of Concord, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2013, and charged with theft, a felony, and simple assault (personal weapons). Officers were called to the Market Basket on Storrs Street for a shoplifter who fled the store after a physical altercation with an employee. Witnesses reported that the man, Murray, was now at Burlington Coat Factory. The employee alleged that Murray was in the store, stole a beer, and left the store without paying for the beer. The employee viewed video footage and allegedly confirmed the theft. The employee then went out to speak to Murray and he allegedly agreed to come back in the store. But after employees called police, Murray allegedly stated that he didn’t have to stay and pushed an employee backward into a wall. Another employee jumped into the altercation but they decided to let Murray go because it wasn’t worth getting hurt over. Murray was found in the men’s room of the Burlington Coat Factory and taken into custody. During a search of Murray’s backpack, officers allegedly found two syringes, a canister with white powder residue, spoons, and other items. The watch commander reportedly told the arresting officer that Murray had been previously convicted of receiving stolen property and theft by unauthorized taking on July 18, 2013, so the charge was elevated to a felony. Murray was released on $500 cash bail.
