ARRESTS: Mass. Woman Found Passed Out at Domino's

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Rhonda K. Michels, 42, of Lawrence, Mass., was arrested at 10:26 p.m. on Sept. 18, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. Officers were called to the Domino's Pizza’s parking lot on North Main Street for a report of a woman sitting in a car who wouldn’t leave. The first officer on the scene alleged that the woman was “passed out behind the wheel of her car,” a 2012 Kia. The officers were able to wake the woman, later identified as Michels. The officers alleged that she “smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage” and in the door panel, there allegedly was an open bottle of vodka. A check of her driving record revealed that Michels’ license was suspended on Sept. 12, for aggravated DWI. She was arrested and refused bail and was arraigned the next day.
  • Joshua Dennis Taylor, 41, of Penacook, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 21, on a conduct after an accident charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Aug. 15, at the intersection of Tanner and Charles streets in Penacook. Taylor turned himself in to police. He was later released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Nov. 4.
  • Herbert N. Thibeault, 49, a homeless man located in Concord, was arrested at 7:57 p.m. on Sept. 21, on a criminal trespass charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at Market Basket on Storrs Street. Thibeault was seen on North Main Street and the officer knew there was an active warrant out for his arrest, and arrested him. He refused bail and was arraigned on Sept. 22.
  • Nathaniel T. Carr, 19, a homeless man now located in Epsom, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and default or breach of bail conditions. An officer was called to Target on D’Amante Drive for a report of a fight in progress. Before arriving at the scene, dispatch informed the officer that one of the allegedly involved parties was Carr. Other officers arrived at the scene with one talking the victim, a relative of Carr’s. According to the victim, Carr allegedly used his lighter but refused to give it back. The family member told Carr to get out of his car and Carr allegedly started punching him and bit him in the forearm, according to a court document. The officer looked at the man’s arm and stated that there was “an obvious fresh bite on his forearm." Another officer spoke to a witness in the parking lot who said she allegedly saw one man punching the other inside the Volkswagen. The woman pulled up to the car the family member told the woman that Carr was a junkie. He later got back into the car where Carr allegedly began to punch him again, she said. The witness said the man who was talking to police was the victim of the altercation. A store employee collecting carts also saw the altercation. A sergeant patrolling the area near Triangle Park Drive located Carr at its intersection with Sheep Davis Road. Carr allegedly told the officer that after asking for his lighter back, the relative punched him in the face, so Carr hit him back. After getting put into a headlock, Carr allegedly bit the other man, he told the officer. When the woman honked her horn, Carr allegedly told the officer, he got out of the car and walked away. Carr was then arrested. He was arraigned on Sept. 23.
  • Daniel A. Chambers, 34, of North Stratford, was arrested at 10:12 a.m. on Sept. 23, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and conduct after an accident. The charges stem from an alleged incident on Aug. 21, on Roy Street. On the evening in question, an officer was called to an accident at around 6 p.m. A resident stated that she heard one of her neighbors riding up and down the street on a dirt bike and then a crash into her fence. The fence damage consisted of several broken pickets. An officer went to the neighbor’s house and spoke to a resident there that Chambers was looking to buy his son’s dirt bike, a 2005 Honda CR85. The man at the home alleged that Chambers “drove around his yard a couple of times and then got his leg caught up and crashed into the fence.” Dispatch advised that Chambers had a warrant out and a suspended license. On Sept. 7, the officer returned to have the resident eye a photo lineup of Chambers, to see if they were the same person, and the man ID’d him, according to a court document. On Sept. 18, a warrant was taken out for Chambers and he was arrested a few days later. He refused bail and was arraigned on Sept. 24.
  • Linda A. Gardner, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. on Sept. 25, on a simple assault (other) charge. Officers were called to the area of Storrs and Pleasant streets for a report of an assault. A sergeant from the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office was at the scene where a couple had been fighting, with items strewn all over the ground. The sergeant stated that he was driving down the street when someone from another vehicle reported that a man was assaulting a female, but the sergeant didn’t see an assault by the time of arrival. The woman, Gardner, was allegedly slurring her speech and her eyes were glassy and bloodshot, according to the reporting officer, who was trying to find out what happened. Gardner allegedly stated that nothing happened. The man, however, said that he had returned from The Friendly Kitchen to find Gardner allegedly drunk and their property all over the place. He became upset and she allegedly threw a bottle at him and the alcohol from the bottle covered him. Gardner allegedly denied knowing how the alcohol got on the man and the ground and she was later arrested. She refused bail and was arraigned on Sept. 26.
  • Thomas John Trempe, 25, of Concord, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. on Sept. 26, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. An officer monitoring traffic on Storrs Street reportedly spotted a Chevrolet Cavalier driving south without an inspection sticker. The car was stopped and the operator, Trempe, reportedly told the officer that it wasn’t his car but he had borrowed it to do laundry. Trempe handed the officer a South Carolina license, noting that he had just moved back to the city about a month or two ago. Trempe, however, was under suspension for failure to pay a court fine on July 20, 2012. Trempe allegedly denied knowledge of the suspension but told the officer it might be due to a bad check case he was previous arrested for. Trempe was arrested and later, released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Nov. 4.
  • Jessica Wilson, 36, of Concord, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. on Sept. 27, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. An officer was called to an apartment on High Street for a welfare check with Concord Fire responding too. The woman, Wilson, was lying on a couch breathing but was unresponsive, according to a report. According to pre-trial services, Wilson was not responding to an initial contact but later, opened the door to the apartment. The pre-trial services contact requested a portable breathalyzer test, since Wilson was out on bail from Aug. 14, and not supposed to be drinking. She allegedly blew a 0.18 and later, was arrested. Wilson refused bail and was arraigned on Sept. 30.
  • Maurille A. Dupuis, 41, of Boscawen, was arrested at 12:17 a.m. on Sept. 28, on a driving while intoxicated charge. While driving behind a 1999 Chevrolet 1500 on Fisherville Road, an officer reported seeing a vehicle “swerved slowly” left and later right crossing over both the white fog lines and the double yellow line. At Beede Drive, the vehicle was pulled over. The officer allegedly “immediately detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle.” The operator, Dupuis, allegedly had bloodshot and glassy eyes and fumbled with his wallet while trying to gain access to his license, which took him approximately two minutes to locate. The officer alleged that Dupuis was slurring his words while talking with him. He was later arrested. Dupuis was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and had a court date on Oct. 7. He was also issued a summons for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
  • Joyce Jean Barron, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 29, on two bench warrants out of Concord District Court from Aug. 30, 2012, and Nov. 20, 2012. Police went to Thorndike Street to investigate a dispute over money between two parties and while there, learned that Barron was wanted on the warrants. She was arrested and later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. Barron is due in court on Nov. 4.
