Homeless Teen in Trouble Again

Concord Police: Brother says Nathaniel T. Carr was allegedly going to stab him.

A teen who is currently homeless is due back in Sixth District Division Court next week and the week after next after allegedly threatening his brother.

Nathaniel T. Carr, 19, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 7:46 p.m. on Dec. 11, on two bench warrants out of Concord District Court and Hillsboro District Court for nonappearance.

According to a Concord Police arrest report, three officers were called to an apartment on North Main Street for a criminal threatening call. Carr’s brother, who reportedly made the call to police, alleged that Nathaniel Carr “was going to stab him” and was currently in his apartment.

While police were attempting to gain access to the Vegas Block building, Nathaniel Carr arrived from behind the building. During the process of getting to the apartment building, dispatch confirmed that Nathaniel Carr had two active electronic bench warrants on a criminal trespass charge in Hillsboro from Nov. 16, and a criminal threatening charge from Concord on Dec. 5.

Nathaniel Carr was then taken into custody and released on $2,750 personal recognizance bail. He’s due back in court on Jan. 7, and Jan. 14.

Nathaniel Carr is no stranger to police. He has been arrested repeatedly during the last year on charges ranging from simple assault to theft.
