CRIME LOG: Bow Teen Arrested on Drug Charge

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Kyle A. Morrison, 19, of Concord, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. on Aug. 24, and charged with forgery and receiving stolen property. The charges stem from an alleged incident at an apartment on Loudon Road on July 26, involving a bank check and a forged check valued at $700. Morrison turned himself in to police and was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Sept. 23.
  • Ashley Elizabeth Demello, 24, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. on Aug. 24, and charged with theft and default or breach of bail conditions. Officers were called to Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road for a report of a shoplifter attempting to leave the store. The woman, Demello, was later apprehended by store employees when officers arrived. An employee reported watching Demello allegedly place items in her purse and later, left the store without paying for the items. Demello allegedly admitted stealing the items, about $52 worth of food and two medicine products, because she needed the food for herself and her 18-month old daughter. Demello was arrested. A default charge was later added, since Demello was out on bail. She was later released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Sept. 16.
  • Joseph P. Sell, 17, of Bow, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 24, on a possession of controlled drugs charge. Officers on bike patrol near White Park reportedly saw a car in the parking lot with a male and female in the front seats. The male, the reporting officer alleged, was looking down at his lap while the female was talking on a cellphone. The officers rode over to the car and spoke with the male who allegedly was holding a silver metal grinder with a green vegetable matter in it. The officer asked if the male had marijuana and he allegedly admitted he did, and handed over the grinder and a pipe to the officer. He was then arrested and later released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. Sell is due in court on Sept. 23.
  • Ian James Tucker, 17, of Concord, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 25, on a criminal mischief (vandalism) charge. Officers were called to Allen Street for a 911 hang up call. Dispatch called the number back and a woman at the home alleged that her son was “out of control.” Officers arrived and spoke to the woman who stated that her son had smashed his cellphone and took off. A witness reported that Tucker was doing some work around the house for extra money and when he was done, asked for the money. When the woman said she couldn’t pay him right at that moment, he reportedly “flipped out,” flipped over a chair, grabbed a baseball bat, and smashed the cellphone his mother paid for. She alleged that Tucker hit his head against the wall and then left. The officer observed glass on the floor from the cellphone screen and the baseball bat, which was in two pieces. Officers couldn’t find Tucker but later, one reported he was on his way back to the home. He was placed under arrest. Tucker was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Sept. 23.
  • John L. Taylor, 21, of Concord, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. on Aug. 26, on a criminal trespass charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 8:10 a.m. on May 30, on Sewalls Falls Road. While at another call for service, an officer ran into Taylor and he was arrested on a warrant. He was later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and was due in court on Sept. 23.
  • Irving Snow, 53, of Concord, received a summons at 9:24 a.m. on Aug. 27, for consumption of liquor on public property. Officers were called to the Capitol Farms on Broadway for a subject drinking outside the store. Upon arrival, they reportedly found Snow outside of the store with an open can of Mike’s Hard Lemonade in his backpack. When asked if he was drinking, Snow allegedly said nobody told him that he couldn’t. He was later issued a summons and is due in court on Sept. 30.
  • Nathaniel T. Carr, 19, of Hopkinton, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 28, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. While on patrol on North Main Street, an officer reportedly saw a Volkswagen pass by with no inspection sticker. The car was followed and it was also found to have brake lights that were white instead of red. The vehicle was stopped near Warren Street. The driver, Carr, dispatch said, had a suspended license issued on Feb. 21, for default on a non-motor vehicle related charge out of Hillsboro District Court. Carr was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Sept. 23.
  • Elizabeth Mary Seymour, 38, of Weare, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 29, and charged with conduct after an accident and negligent driving. The alleged incident occurred at the intersection of North Main Street and Loudon Road on Aug. 18, reportedly involving a city road sign that was destroyed or damaged. Seymour turned herself in to police and was released on $3,500 personal recognizance bail. She’s due in court on Sept. 30.
