Carr Arrested for Assault in Hopkinton
New Hampshire State Police K9 unit called to the town to hunt for teen with long arrest record.
A local teen is in trouble with the law again, this time, an alleged assault early this morning at a Hopkinton bank.
According to a New Hampshire State Police statement, troopers were called to the town to assist the police in finding Nathaniel Carr, 19.
At around 3:50 a.m. on Sept. 11, the police responded to a report of an assault in the parking lot of the TD Bank on Main Street in Hopkinton. Carr is alleged to have assaulted someone and then fled the area on foot.

Along with the help of Henniker Police, officer cordoned off a search area and when the K9 unit arrived, collected evidence and information, and searched for the suspect.
The K9, “Brutus,” along with a trooper from Troop B in Bedford, were able to find Carr in a cornfield about a quarter of a mile from the parking lot, according to the report.

Carr was evaluated by the Hopkinton Fire and Rescue team and then arrested by Hopkinton Police.
During the past few years, Carr has been arrested numerous times in Concord for allegedly threatening his brother, prowling, criminal trespass, assault, criminal mischief, and theft.
