CRIME LOG: Man Arrested on Two Counts of Criminal Threatening

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Bradford Parkhurst, 69, of Goffstown, received a summons at 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 2, for conduct after an accident in the parking lot outside Burlington Coat Factory on Storrs Street on July 26. Parkhurst had a court date on Dec. 30, 2013.

Kathryn Trottier, 19, of Concord, received a summons at 1 a.m. on Dec. 3, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. While stopped at a traffic light behind a 2005 Toyota Corolla, an officer ran a check on the license and found the owner had a suspended license on Oct. 4, for failing to comply with terms of probation. Trottier was pulled over and issued a summons. She’s due in court on Jan. 6.

Michael T. Hughes, 26, of Concord, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. on Dec. 3, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension, suspended registration (operating-misd), and drivers license prohibitions. An officer monitoring traffic outside of the Heights Fire Station on Loudon Road observed a Ford Focus drive by with an April 2013 inspection sticker. The vehicle was stopped near the Sunoco station on Loudon Road. After a check, it was revealed that Hughes’ license and registration had been suspended on Nov. 8, for default court summons. Hughes allegedly told the officer he had been stopped and summoned in October but paid the ticket online. Hughes was arrested and is due in court on Jan. 6.

James Edward Lane, 50, of Concord, was arrested at 4:59 p.m. on Dec. 3, on two criminal threatening (use of a deadly weapon) felony charges, reckless conduct; place another in danger, another felony, and criminal mischief (vandalism). The charges stem from an alleged incident in an apartment on North State Street on Dec. 2, involving neighbors and an elderly man from Loudon, involving a knife and sword. Lane was released on $17,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Jan. 13.

Kenneth H. Smart, 48, of Laconia, was arrested at 6:40 pm. on Dec. 3, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and false imprisonment. Officers were called to Thorndike Street for a report of an unwanted guest. They separated the parties, Smart and his wife. The woman stated that the two were getting a divorce after 18 years together and had been separated since June. Earlier in the day, the woman said she wanted Smart to leave her alone but he allegedly kept calling her cellphone on the day in question, showing one of the officers the missed calls. Smart, she said, wanted to work things out but she didn’t. Smart said he wanted to come over but she said no but he allegedly came by anyway. An argument in the kitchen ensued and Smart was asked multiple times to leave, in front of witnesses, but allegedly wouldn’t. The woman was cooking dinner at the time and put a pot of rice on the porch to cool off. Smart reportedly followed her out and allegedly blocked her apartment door, not allowing her to re-enter her kitchen. Smart allegedly grabbed her arm while on the porch and wouldn’t let go. After continuing to argue, she called police. Two other people at the home offered testimony about what happened. The reporting officer went to speak with Smart who alleged his wife pushed him while they were inside the apartment. Smart was arrested and released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Jan. 13.

Theron L. Mayo, 39, of Concord, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. on Dec. 4, on a warrant. Officers were called to the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street for a report of an intoxicated individual. The man was later identified as Mayo and dispatch reported that there was a warrant for his arrest out of the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office.

Jodi Lynn Bye, 42, of Concord, was arrested at 9:52 a.m. on Dec. 4, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration (operating-misd). Officers were called to an accident outside the CVS on Hall Street. One of the drivers, Bye, had a suspended license and registration, according to dispatch, due to a default court summons on Oct. 28. She was arrested and is due in court on Jan. 13.

William F. Fredette, 61, of Concord, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 4, on a false report to law enforcement charge from Sept. 1, on Parmenter Road. Fredette turned himself in to police, was processed, and released. He’s due in court on Jan. 13.

Jennifer Rose Harding, 34, of Pittsfield, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. on Dec. 4, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. An officer observing traffic near the Central Fire Station on North State Street reportedly saw a 2003 Audi traveling north that was in the left turn only lane but went straight. The car was stopped at Dallas Pizza. Harding, according to dispatch, had had her license suspended on July 25, for failure to pay court fines. She also had a prior conviction for operating after suspension on September 2009 out of Derry District Court. She was arrested and also issued a summons for traffic control devices. Harding is due in court on Jan. 13.

Brad Bohan, 45, of Concord, was arrested at 1:53 p.m. on Dec. 4, on a warrant. Officers were called to Fairfield Lane to locate Bohan who was wanted by the Hudson Police Department on a stalking warrant. He was later arrested at home and transferred to Hudson Police at the park and ride on I-93 near Exit 11 in Hooksett.
