ARRESTS: Loudon Man in Trouble Again

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Editor’s Note: Due to more extensive narratives in the Concord Police arrest reports, it’s taking a little be longer to transcribe entries and that is why the dates vary so widely.

  • Felicia A. McMahon, 26, of Concord, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. on Dec. 16, 2012, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 4 p.m. on Nov. 28, 2012.
  • Jake Lamb Rucker, 33, of Concord, was arrested at 9:40 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2012, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers were sent to Manchester Street to serve a warrant to Rucker. The charges stem from an alleged incident at the Vegas Block Apartment Building on North Main Street on Nov. 10, 2012. Police allege that the victim in the case was a Concord man who was reportedly homeless. Swab samples were taken from the walls of the building, according to the report. Rucker was later released on personal recognizance bail of $2,000. He was arraigned on Jan. 28.
  • Shawn Watkins, 41, of Concord, was arrested at 11:49 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2012, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons), criminal mischief (vandalism), and obstructing report of a crime or injury. Officers were called to Old Suncook Road for a report of a couple screaming in the hallway. The caller reportedly heard a woman screaming for help and asking someone to call police because a man hit her. About 400 yards from the apartment, a woman flagged one of the officers down. The two began to talk about the situation with the woman reporting that she had an argument with her husband about $5 and whether she could go out and get more wine, according to the officer. The woman allegedly said that her husband was sleeping at the time and the two began to argue about the situation. Watkins demanded his money back but she refused, she reported, and he allegedly grabbed both of her hands and began pulling on her arms. She also reported that she had recently had surgery on her left shoulder. The woman refused medical attention, according to the officer. The woman attempted to call 911 on her cellphone and her husband allegedly grabbed the Motorola phone from her and threw it on the floor. She then ran out into the hallway asking for help. The phone was valued at $300 and had cracks on the screen, the officer reported. The officer then spoke to Watkins about the situation and he was later arrested. Later, he was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail.
  • Christopher Michael Harrison, 35, of Penacook, was arrested at 11:01 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2012, on two counts of simple assault (personal weapons). According to an arrest report, an officer was called to a fight in progress at Charles Street in Penacook at 10:18 p.m. Upon arrival, he met with a woman standing in front of the apartment building who reported to the officer that Harrison had allegedly been in a fight with a neighbor and had taken off in his truck. The officer went to speak to the neighbor who was “worked up and agitated and he was bleeding from the middle of his nose.” The man alleged that Harrison attacked him while on the first floor landing. He alleged that he was talking with Harrison’s wife and Harrison “opened up the front door and slammed the door into him.” Harrison then allegedly punched the man in the nose and they started fighting. The man reportedly walked away because he didn’t want to get involved in the couple’s issues. Later though, he alleged that Harrison “grabbed her by the back of the hair because he didn’t want her going up to his apartment.” The man try to step between the too and Harrison allegedly left the scene. During the interview with the woman, the officer reported that she was “very vague” about the situation but later reportedly confirmed part of what the man reported. The officer alleged that she gave “evasive answers” during further questioning. The officer issued a 12-hour arrest warrant for Harrison based on the witness testimony. Less than an hour later, Harrison was stopped on Village Street by Lilac Street. The initial reporting officer arrived at the scene and “noticed that he had several fresh injuries to his face” including a black eye, cuts, and fresh blood stains on his shirt. He was arrested and later released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail. He was arraigned on Feb. 4.
  • Michael James Dempsey, 28, of Loudon, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. on Jan. 4, on an unauthorized use of propelled vehicle. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 4:15 a.m. on Jan. 1. Police allege that Dempsey stole a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo from a Chicester man. Dempsey turned himself in at police headquarters and was released on personal recognizance bail of $2,000. He was arraigned on Jan. 14.
  • Nicholas J. Lemire, 19, of Concord, received a summons at 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 4, on a driving after revocation or suspension. According to a summons report, an officer was driving on Loudon Road when he alleged noticed the plate lights out on a dark colored pickup truck. The officer pulled the vehicle, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, over at Arnie’s Place on Loudon Road. Upon looking at the plate lights, the officer reported that they were “dim” due to “dirt on them.” The driver, Lemire, reportedly did not have his license with him. The officer ran Lemire’s name through dispatch it according to available records, his license was suspended on Dec. 19, 2012, “an indefinite suspension,” the officer alleged. Lemire allegedly said he paid a fine the other day and thought it was resolved. Lemire had a court date on Feb. 11.
  • Laura L. Lemon, 64, of Concord, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on Jan. 19, on two counts of criminal mischief (vandalism). While at a call on Parmenter Road, officers realized that a warrant service was needed for the address for Lemon, for an alleged incident on July 7, 2012, involving damage to another person’s vehicle. Officers reported that Lemon, who was sleeping at the time the officers arrived, allegedly told them she thought the issue was resolved. She was arrested and later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. She had a court date on Feb. 25.
  • Kyle Warriner, 17, of Concord, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on Jan. 31, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from the Market Basket on Storrs Street. Two officers were dispatched to the store for a theft report. When they arrived, they spoke with the assistant store director who reported that Warriner and another man were acting suspicious in the store. While in aisle six, the director alleged that Warriner picked up a bottle of Delsym cold medicine, valued at $8.99, and stuck it in his pocket. The two picked up other items and passed through checkout, allegedly without paying for the cold medicine. The director reportedly stopped the two men. The other man who was with Warriner denied stealing anything and reportedly emptied his pockets. When Warriner was asked to do the same, he allegedly refused and denied taking anything. Both were requested to stay at the store while police arrived but the other man took the items that were paid for and left the store. Warriner allegedly gave up the cold medicine while in the director’s office and was later arrested. The other man was stopped by Marshall’s on Storrs Street by an officer and allegedly was later charged with being a minor in possession of tobacco products and is due in court on March 4. Warriner was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail, released to his father, and is due in court on March 4. Both were given no trespass orders.
  • Trung Duc Dang, 52, of Concord, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 4, on an operating without a valid license charge outside the Red Apple Buffet on Loudon Road. While on patrol on the Heights, an officer reported seeing a Mitsubishi Gallant drive past him with an expired inspection sticker. The driver, Dang, presented a Tennessee ID and allegedly said that he had borrowed the vehicle from a friend and didn’t know it was uninspected. After checking with dispatch, it was revealed that Dang’s license was suspended in Tennessee. He was arrested and later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He is due in court on March 4. Dang also received a summons for driving an uninspected vehicle.
  • Timothy R. Murray, 29, of Boscawen, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. on Feb. 7, on two theft by unauthorized taking or transfer warrants from Jan. 17, from the Sam’s Food Store at Village Street in Penacook. Police allege that Murray stole a purse with $5 in it from an elderly Boscawen woman. Police were called to the Rite Aid on Fort Eddy Road for a report of a suspicious man in a restroom. An officer entered the restroom and allegedly found Murray with his hands on the back of the toilet. On the toilet tank was a pack of cigarettes, a bottle of Jim Beam, a spoon, and a wallet. Concord Fire and Rescue teams arrived at the scene to revive Murray and he was later transported to Concord Hospital. He was later arrested and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. He is due in court on March 11.
  • Micah Nathan Sullivan, 37, of Concord, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. on Feb. 13, and charged with false imprisonment, criminal mischief (vandalism), obstructing report of crime or injury, violation of protective order; penalty, two counts of simple assault (personal weapons), and default or breach of bail conditions. Officers were called to North State Street at about 5:40 p.m. for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, they made contact with a woman and two other individuals in the apartment who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Sullivan, was just released from jail the day before. The couple used to live at the apartment together but she had moved out at Christmas and was attempting to get her name off the lease. There was also back rent owed on the apartment and she wanted to give Sullivan some tax money and pay the landlord. When she arrived at the apartment, she alleged that Sullivan was drunk and wouldn’t allow her to take some of her belongings out of the apartment. She alleged that he began yelling at her. Their son, meanwhile, was left in a vehicle outside. She said she wanted to leave but Sullivan allegedly blocked her way, grabbed a phone out of her hand, and smashed it. Other officers began to arrive to take over the case while the first officers began looking for Sullivan around the apartment. Other witnesses alleged that Sullivan had pushed the woman and when she tried to call 911, threw her phone. Another witness reportedly locked the door of the car so Sullivan couldn’t grab his son out of the car. A little less than three hours later, Sullivan reportedly returned to the apartment and was banging on the door to get inside. As the officer arrived at the scene and approached Sullivan, he allegedly asked if he was in trouble and was subsequently arrested without incident. There was reportedly blood on Sullivan’s hands but he refused to acknowledge where it came from. There were “several small scratches” on the top of Sullivan’s right hand and a cut on a knuckle on his left hand. Sullivan was held without bail and arraigned on Feb. 14.
  • Alexander Burke, 29, of Franklin and Tilton, was arrested at 8 p.m. on Feb. 26, on a bail jumping charge out of Concord District Court from Jan. 13, 2009, and a theft by deception charge, a felony, from Walmart on Loudon Road from Jan. 25. The theft charge reportedly involved a $315 gift card. Burke was in jail at the time of the arrest. He refused to see a bail commissioner and was arraigned on Feb. 27.
  • Cheryl A. Schaitel, 54, of Concord, was arrested at 5 p.m. on Feb. 27, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. While traveling westbound on Loudon Road near Blodgett Street, an officer allegedly observed a 2010 Mazda 3 attempting to exit the parking lot of the Dunkin’ Donuts on Loudon Road. The officer believed that it was the same vehicle that he had arrested the owner on a suspension charge previously. The officer pulled a U-turn and stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Hazen Drive and Loudon Road. The driver, Schaitel, was not the owner of the vehicle but a search in the system revealed that she too had a suspended license on Jan. 27, for an unregistered vehicle offense. The notice was sent to Schaitel on Dec. 28, 2012, the officer reported. Another officer then arrived at the scene to assist and she was taken into custody. Schaitel was later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on April 1.
