ARRESTS: Man Says, ‘I’m DMX,’ Before Allegedly Threatening to Kill Officer

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Catherine Marie Craig, 51, of Concord, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. on Dec. 13, 2013, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. An officer was sent to an apartment on South Street to meet with a county official concerning an allegation that Craig had violated bail conditions. The official, from pre-trial services, alleged that Craig was “heavily intoxicated” and she was attempting to administer a portable breath test. Craig, however, was allegedly “unable to complete a full blow into the machine” although a breath sample was captured, according to the report. The test reportedly yielded a 0.238 breath alcohol level. The officer alleged seeing several bottles of vodka throughout the apartment. Craig allegedly had “glassy” eyes and her speech was slurred. Craig was previously arrested on Nov. 20, 2013, and was ordered to not consume alcohol. She was taken into custody and held without bail.

Cornelius Lee, 64, of Concord, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. on Dec. 20, 2013, on a violation of protective order; penalty. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 9:51 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2013, at an apartment on Portsmouth Street. An officer was called to the apartment around 11:30 p.m. for a report by a woman that her husband had just violated a restraining order from earlier in the evening, by calling her. When the woman didn’t pick up the phone, he reportedly left a voicemail. The officer requested to see the woman’s phone and alleged that Lee had called her and left a message. After listening to the message, the officer reported that another message came in to the phone, allegedly from Lee. The officer checked the protection order, which was issued around 9 p.m. Officers went to Loudon Road to speak to Lee and he was taken into custody and held without bail.

Michael W. Durgin, 34, of Webster, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 25, and charged with theft by unauthorized taking, a felony, due to two previous convictions, and two bench warrants, one a felony. The charges stem from an alleged incident on Dec. 2, at Walmart on Loudon Road, involving a Camillus titanium knife. Durgin turned himself in to police. The warrants were out of Hillsboro County Superior Court for controlled drug act and Merrimack County Superior Court for failing to appear for a theft by unauthorized taking charge. Durgin refused bail and was arraigned on Dec. 26, 2013.

Christopher G. Fournier, 43, of Concord, was arrested at 11:46 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2013, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.). The charges stem from an alleged incident on Myrtle Street at 3 p.m. on Dec. 26, 2013. As evidence, officers took photographs of text and bruising to the victim’s face. Fournier is due in court on Feb. 3.

Jason J. Philbrick, 32, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 3:11 a.m. on Dec. 29, 2013, and charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.). Officers were called to the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street for a report of an unwanted guest. When the reporting officer got to the store and got out of the cruiser, a man allegedly came up to the officer, “with a death stare in his eyes” and asked, “You got a problem too? What’s your problem?” The officer alleged that the man then said, “I’m gonna cut your head off.” The officer took out his Taser and pointed it at the man, warning him to stop walking towards him. “The subject stopped, smiled, and said, ‘I like being tazed,’” the officer alleged. The man was ordered to sit down and allegedly ignored the officer. Later, he allegedly stated, “I’m DMX and I’m gonna bring the pain. I’m gonna kill you.” The officer radioed for other units while the man kept yelling at the officer. After other officers arrived, the man, later identified as Philbrick, was cuffed and taken into custody. Another officer spoke to a store employee who alleged that Philbrick had been told repeatedly not to come visit the store but continued to and wouldn’t leave. He was held without bail.

Anna Puzak, 47, of Concord, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. on Jan. 1, and charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, and one count of possession of controlled drugs, a felony, possession of drugs, and aggravated driving while intoxicated. She was also cited for speeding. An officer on South Main Street reportedly clocked a 2001 Nissan Altima driving 47 mph in a 30 zone and saw it drifting in and out of lanes. While following the vehicle, it reportedly almost struck a median before the bridge and later, a snow bank on Water Street. The car was pulled over into the CVS parking lot on Hall Street. The officer spoke to the driver, Puzak, and alleged that she smelled like alcohol. Puzak reportedly handed the officer her license and then rifled through papers repeatedly, trying to find the car registration. While talking to Puzak about why she was pulled over, the officer alleged that she had slurred speech and glossy eyes. Puzak said she had come from the Olive Garden on Loudon Road and Penuche’s in Bicentennial Square and was heading home. Later, she agreed to field sobriety tests but allegedly staggered trying to get in front of the car to begin the tests. She was later arrested. During processing, the officer reported that Puzak was allegedly upset and took about 20 minutes deciding how she wanted fill out the forms and whether she wanted to submit to a breath test. Puzak was allowed to make a call to find someone to pick her up. She reportedly opened her purse to get her phone and while doing so, the reporting officer alleged that there was a bag with white powder that could be seen inside a pouch. A field test revealed it to be 3.5 grams of cocaine. Puzak allegedly denied knowledge of the drug being in her purse, saying that someone must have put it in there. She had a court date on Jan. 13.

Christopher John Bickford, 30, of Boscawen, was arrested at 2:44 a.m. on Jan. 1, on a driving while intoxicated charge. An officer traveling north on Fisherville Road reportedly heard a loud exhaust on a Honda sedan and said it was crossing over the double yellow line and almost struck a median. The vehicle was stopped near Manor Road. The officer alleged that the vehicle “applied the brakes several times, however, did not immediately pull over to the side of the road.” Eventually, the car stopped in the middle of the road. The officer walked up to the vehicle and “knocked on the window several times to get the operator’s attention,” according to the report. After opening the window, the driver, Bickford, turned to the officer and began speaking to him. Bickford allegedly had bloodshot and glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol, the officer wrote. Bickford agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested. He had a court date on Jan. 13.

Tengbe Bility, 22, of Boscawen, was arrested at 4:58 p.m. on Jan. 1, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and conduct after an accident. At around 3:45 p.m., an officer was called to the Penacook Village Laundromat on Village Street for a car that crashed into the building and a driver allegedly fleeing from the scene. A witness offered a registration for the car, a 2007 Honda Accord from Boscawen. The officer spoke to the owner who didn’t see the crash but did record it on surveillance video. A witness, who was waiting for a ride, stated that a woman drove up in a car, slid on the ice, and stopped. Then, the woman “floored it and drove into the building,” according to the witness. The woman then backed up, stopped, got out of her car, and walked around to inspect the car. The woman looked at the building and made a phone call, reportedly speaking in a foreign language, according to the witness, and then left the area, heading north. Boscawen later reportedly stopped the vehicle with Bility allegedly driving. Her license was also suspended, according to dispatch, on Dec. 18, 2013, for failed driver’s reexamination. The officer went to Boscawen to meet police there and speak with the woman. The Boscawen officer reported that he was coming off Tarrace Hill Road and reportedly saw the Honda with Bility allegedly driving. The officer spoke with Bility who reportedly said she didn’t know what to do after the accident so she went home. Bility was arrested and is due in court on Feb. 10.

Gregery W. Pinard, 35, of Salisbury, was arrested at 10 p.m. on Jan. 2, on driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated, second offense, charges. An officer was called to Hoit Road near Boyce Road for a Toyota Camry striking a guardrail. A city plow reported seeing a man walking away from the accident. The vehicle had heavy front-end damage and was perpendicular to the guardrail. The officer noticed that the passenger window was open and the car smelled alcohol and smoke that didn’t smell like tobacco smoke. A backpack was in the passenger seat and inside the bag appeared a paycheck stub with Pinard’s name on it. Inside the bag were various amounts of spice and an empty beer can. While trying to find contact information for Pinard and waiting for a tow truck, a white van drove up to the accident. A passenger, Pinard, came out of the van and spoke with the officer. Pinard allegedly told the officer that while driving south on Boyce, he attempted to stop at the stop sign and lost control of the vehicle, colliding with the guardrail. Pinard allegedly smelled like alcohol and “slurred some of his words as he spoke.” Pinard agreed to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested. According to the watch commander, Pinard had been convicted of drunk driving twice before, in 2005, and in Hooksett District Court in 2007. He had a court date on Jan. 13.

Creschenda Grenier, 22, of Concord, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. on Jan. 3, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers were called to an apartment on South State Street at around 12:45 a.m. for an assault. The victim reported that she was watching a movie with a friend at the apartment when an ex-girlfriend of a roommate began to start an altercation with her. The two exchanged words and the altercation reportedly became physical, with the victim getting scratched in the arm, punched in the mouth, and her hair pulled. A witness jumped in to try and break it up and was also punched, according to the report. The victim and a witness filled out statements at police headquarters and ID’d the aggressor as Greenier. Officers spoke with Greenier who allegedly stated that she wanted the other woman to leave but she refused and when the fight started, she fought back. Greenier was arrested and later, released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. She’s due in court on Feb. 24.

Christopher Hildreth, 26, of Pembroke, was arrested at 3 p.m. on Jan. 3, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal mischief (vandalism). The charges stem from alleged incidents at 3 a.m. on Jan. 1, on Canton Circle, involving a Samsung Galaxy S4 cellphone that was damaged or destroyed. A Concord officer assisted U.S. Marshals with the arrest. Hildreth was held on $10,000 cash bail.

Ronald D. Perron, 35, of Concord, was arrested at 4:25 p.m. on Jan. 3, on a felony burglary charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 6:34 p.m on Dec. 26, at the Mirror Mirror Hair Salon on Manchester Street involving jewelry and Paul Mitchell hair products, all valued at around $500. Perron is due in court on Feb. 3.
