CRIME LOG: Bow Woman Charged with DWI

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Jesse Wesley James, 27, of Concord, was arrested at 8:54 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2013, and charged with two counts of change of registration; duty to inform, one of them a felony, two counts of duty to report, one a felony, and violation of probation or parole.

Kevin W. Jenkins, 55, of Manchester, was arrested at 1:07 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2013, on a bench warrant for nonappearance in court on a controlled drug act. The charge stem from an alleged incident on Aug. 6, 2013. Jenkins turned himself in to police and was released on $500 cash bail.

Lonnie A. Potter, 22, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2013, on a bench warrant from Oct. 29, 2013. Potter turned himself in and had a court date on Jan. 13.

Tatiannia Rand, 24, a homeless woman now located in Manchester, was arrested at 4 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2013, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge. An officer was called to the Home Depot on D’Amante Drive for a report of a shoplifter in custody who had cut herself while trying to cut through packaging. The alleged shoplifter, Rand, was bandaged and awaiting Concord Fire and Rescue teams for medical treatment. An employee alleged that he observed Rand walk into the tool area and select two Huskey Roto Ratchets, two Dremel EZ Locks, and a Milwaukee Step Drill bit valued at about $150. She then walked into the rug area and allegedly tried to remove the security tags with a razor. Rand then allegedly walked out of the store. She was arrested. During a pat down, the officer allegedly found a hypodermic needle with residue in it.

Amanda S. Levesque, 31, of Concord, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2013, on two counts of simple assault (personal weapons) on Drew Street. Officers were called to a domestic assault where a woman alleged being assault by her mother and stepfather. Officers spoke with the mother who alleged that her daughter, Levesque, was having “a bad day” and was “not acting appropriately in front of her children” that she had custody of. They reportedly tried to get Levesque to calm down and she allegedly kicked her stepfather. Later, the mother allegedly attempted to slap Levesque but missed and after that, she stormed out of a room. Levesque, according to the officer, was “visibly upset” and said she was frightened and allegedly lifted her leg in a defensive move and ended up kicking the man in the stomach. Levesque was later arrested.

Pamela Sparks, 50, of Bow, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 12, on a driving while intoxicated charge. An officer was called to an accident at South Main and Storrs streets between a 2009 Ford Focus and a 2004 Jeep Liberty. One of the drivers, Sparks, reportedly stated she was attempting to make a left turn onto South Main when her car was struck by the Jeep. The Jeep then crashed into a parked 2008 Toyota at the Unfranchised Auto location on South Main Street. The driver of the Jeep stated she was not familiar with the area and accidentally went through the red light. The officer was unable to locate information about Sparks and an employee at the Unfranchised alleged that she smelled of alcohol when speaking with her and that there was a bottle of vodka in the passenger side floor of the car. Sparks, however, allegedly denied drinking when the officer asked about it. She agreed to a field sobriety test and was later arrested. Sparks was also summoned for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

John W. R. Charnley, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 1:35 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2013, on a bench warrant. Officers were sent to the Vegas Apartments on North Main Street for a burglary in the building. The caller, Charnley, met police outside and dispatch advised he had a bench warrant from Dec. 11, 2013, out of Concord District Court for nonpayment of fines.

May E. Schwarzer-Hampton, 50, of Durham received a summons at 5:25 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2013, for driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration (operating-misd). Officers were called to a three car accident on North Main Street and one of the drivers, Schwarzer-Hampton, was found to have a suspended license for default court summons on Nov. 21, 2013. She’s had a court date on Jan. 14.

Ryan Walter Dawes, 25, of Concord, received a summons at 1:20 a.m. on Dec. 13, 2013, on a warrant. Officers were called to Leanne Drive attempting to arrest Dawes on behalf of the Manchester Police Department which ordered a 12-hour domestic violence violation protective order and stalking request. Dawes was reportedly at his parent's house and seemed unaware of the issue, according to officers. He was arrested and transported to Manchester.

Thomas Bruce Heckel, 49, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 13, 2013, on a bench warrant. While walking between City Hall and police headquarters, an officer reportedly saw Heckel drinking from what looked like a bottle of mouthwash. Heckel was asked for an ID and gave the officer one from North Carolina. A check revealed a warrant for nonappearance in court on a criminal trespass charge. Heckel was arrested and had a court date on Jan. 7.
