Anti-Bearcat Activists Say They Have 1,000 Petition Signatures
Concord City Council will vote on the matter on Sept. 9.
People gathering signature petitions in order to stop the city of Concord from approving a Bearcat armored vehicle grant say they have more than 1,000 signatures collected so far.
Michael Maresco, one of the organizers, was seen at City Hall at around 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, collecting signatures. He and others were Around the city today, at City Hall, Market Basket, as well as other locations, around collecting signatures.
The Concord City Council vote is set for Sept. 9.
