LOG: Finding Tunes on a Cellphone Leads to Sewalls Falls Road Crash

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

During a sweep of the railroad tracks behind Storrs Street on May 20, the following individuals were charged: Devin Aaron Baillie, 36, of Concord, received a summons for criminal trespass and possession of alcoholic beverages on private property; Andrew R. Goodnow, 30, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Hooksett District Court from March 24, for nonappearance in court on a breach of bail conditions charge, $500 cash to settle; Donna M. Gove, 38, of Concord, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court from July 19, 2013, for nonpayment of fines on a simple assault charge, $224 cash to settle; Shaune Timothy Milligan, 49, of Concord, was arrested on a criminal trespass charge; Fordyce A. Pearl, 33, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons for criminal trespass.

Jacqueline R. Grenier, 32, of Concord, was arrested at 10:51 a.m. on May 20, on a theft of lost or mislaid property charge from May 9, at the Walmart on Loudon Road. Grenier turned herself in to police and is due in court on June 30.

Vincent V. Coppola, 60, of Concord, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. on May 20, on a fugitive from justice felony charge. According to a court affidavit, Coppola was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Warren Street for failure to appear and failure to register as a sex offender out of Sarasota County Florida Sheriff’s Office issued in August 2011.

Jessica N. Carter, 28, of Concord, was arrested at 4:19 p.m. on May 20, on two theft by deception charges from Walmart on Loudon Road on March 16, and March 31. She turned herself in to police and is due in court on June 30.

Adam M. Babineau, 31, of Concord, was arrested at 10:01 a.m. on May 21, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension, suspended registration, possession of controlled drugs, and possession of drugs. According to an arrest and court affidavit, an officer traveling behind a 2000 Dodge Dakota ran a check on the vehicle and found that the owner, Babineau, had suspended privileges. The vehicle was stopped on Green Street. Babineau reportedly stated that he didn’t know his license was suspended but was arrested. An inventory of the vehicle allegedly yielded a metal jar of marijuana and a pipe. He refused bail and was arraigned on May 22.

Charlie C. Adcock, 39, of Boscawen, was arrested at 10:25 a.m. on May 21, on a criminal threatening charge from Aug. 12, 2013, on Fisherville Road. He turned himself in to police, was arrested, and transported to Concord District Court and is due back in court on June 30.

Tristan R. Palma, 22, of Concord, received a summons at 4 p.m. on May 21, on a negligent driving charge. An officer was sent to the Sewalls Falls Road Bridge for an accident with a Ford Escape rear-ended by a Chevrolet Silverado. The first driver stated that he was waiting for another vehicle to cross the bridge when his vehicle was hit from behind. The other driver, Palma, reportedly told the officer that he hit the Ford because he was “distracted by looking down at his cellphone.” The officer summoned him on a text message/device usage charge and cleared the scene. Later, the officer met with Palma again who allegedly insisted he wasn’t texting but was “scrolling through his music while looking down.” The officer changed the charge to negligent driving and Palma is due in court on June 30.

Sean P. Lambert, 21, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:05 a.m. on May 22, on a simple assault charge from Feb. 18, at The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street. Officers were sent to Market Basket and arrested Lambert. He’s due in court on June 30.

Shelby A. Weston, 48, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:37 a.m. on May 22, on criminal trespass and default or breach of bail conditions charges. An officer was sent to the railroad tracks by The Friendly Kitchen for a report of trespassers with New England Southern Railroad also filing a complaint about campers within a few feet of the tracks. The officer found a tent about a foot from the rail and tapped on the foot that was sticking out from the opening of the tent. The camper, Weston, woke up. He was out of bail from an arrest on May 18, and had been warned numerous times not to trespass on the railroad tracks. He was arrested and arraigned on May 23.

Maxxwel Cochrane, 19, of Center Ossipee, received a summons at 9:03 p.m. on May 22, for misuse or failure to display plates. Cochrane was stopped outside of Veano’s on Manchester Street for driving without headlights on. The vehicle’s plate was on a 1991 Ford van but was supposed to be on a 1998 Volkswagen Golf. Cochrane allegedly told the officer he found the plate at home and put it on the van. He was then cited.

Ryan Pinault, 21, of Concord, was arrested at 11:36 p.m. on May 22, on a bench warrant. While on Loudon Road, an officer saw a Honda Civic with its taillights out. The vehicle was pulled over at Stickney Avenue. The driver, Pinault, had an active warrant out of Concord District Court from Jan. 3, on an endangering the welfare of a child/incompetent charge, $2,510.75 cash to settle. He had a court date on June 4.

Jasmine C. Bourdeau, 35, of Loudon, was arrested at 6:39 p.m. on May 23, on a willful concealment charge from Walmart on Loudon Road on March 29. She was arrested in Epsom and transported to the Super Shoes in Chichester for release to Concord Police on the warrant. Bourdeau is due in court on July 7.

Jacob Davidson, 18, of Loudon, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on May 23, on a possession of controlled drugs charge from May 8. Davidson turned himself in to police and has a court date on July 7.
