CRIME LOG: Mass. Man Arrested for DWI, Drugs

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Amanda L. Roy, 24, of Concord, was arrested at 2:44 p.m. on Nov. 2, on a warrant. While at Project Second Start on North State Street, an officer saw a white car went speeding by southbound. The officer clocked the car at 47 mph in a 30 zone. The officer stopped the car and spoke with Roy who had a Vermont license but recently moved to Concord. A check with DMV showed a warrant by New Hampshire State Police for driving after suspension. She was arrested and released on $500 personal recognizance bail. She’s due in Colebrook District Court on Dec. 12.

Derik Durand Bellerose, 22, of Sterling, Mass., was arrested at 7:42 p.m. on Nov. 2, and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of drugs, and possession of controlled drugs. Officers were called to the intersection of Portsmouth Street and Lady Bug Lane to assist other officers with an impaired driver call. The other officers had stopped a 1993 Toyota pickup with a Massachusetts plate. The driver, Bellerose, allegedly “didn’t know where he was however; he was aware he was in NH.” Bellerose, the reporting officer alleged, “appeared confused” and had “glossy, dilated pupils.” Bellerose allegedly couldn’t remember what he had to drink although he denied taking any medications or illegal drugs. He was asked to perform a field sobriety test and allegedly refused at first but later, changed his mind. Bellerose was arrested after the test. During a vehicle inventory check, a glass pipe with marijuana residue was allegedly found. He was released on $4,500 personal recognizance bail and was arraigned on Nov. 18.

Khalil D. Bureau, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. on Nov. 3, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers were called to Perley Street for a domestic disturbance. Bureau’s father alleged that his son slapped his significant other and had been verbally abusive. The first arriving officer reportedly heard yelling in the apartment. A woman answered the door and the officer went into the kitchen where two men were yelling at each other and were animated. When the officer attempted to speak to the father, Bureau allegedly began yelling at him. The officer requested that the father go outside to speak, to diffuse the situation, and he agreed. As they were leaving, Bureau allegedly began walking towards the officer. The woman jumped between the two of them, and Bureau allegedly pushed her away. Additional units began to converge on the scene and Bureau was arrested. Bureau was later released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Dec. 16.

Davein H. Jenkins, 41, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons on a criminal trespass charge at 5:20 a.m. on Nov. 6. During a patrol of the area around I-393 behind the Kimball Jenkins Estate on North Main Street, officers located a number of individuals who were camping again under the highway, along the railroad tracks. Jenkins is due in court on Dec. 9.

Brenden Locke, 17, of Pittsfield, received a summons for possession and use of tobacco products by minors at 11 a.m. on Nov. 7, at the Washington Street School in Penacook. He’s due in court on Dec. 9. An officer was called to the school to investigate a possession of marijuana incident (Locke allegedly had a bag of seeds that might be marijuana seeds, according to a school staffer). The seeds tested negative twice, according to the officer. However, Locke had allegedly been found in possession of a pack of Marlboros that were in his backpack, so a summons was issued.

Grant Vincent Ohlund, 39, of Concord, was arrested at 10:55 p.m. on Nov. 8, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. While watching for stop sign violations at Rumford and Walker streets, an officer reportedly saw a vehicle go through the stop sign and pulled it over at Knolll Street. The driver, Ohlund, denied going through the stop sign, allegedly saying he “cali rolled.” When asked for his license and registration, Ohlund allegedly said it wasn’t his car and he didn’t have his license with him. Later, he allegedly admitted that his license was suspended and that was confirmed (July 21) during a status check. Ohlund was arrested and later, released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Dec. 16.

Keith Ralph Coomer, 60, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9, on a criminal trespass charge.

Shelby E. Weston, 48, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9, on a criminal trespass charge.

Janet Laurie Smith, 46, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9, on a criminal trespass charge. Officers on bike patrol by the railroad tracks at the I-393 bridge located a brown tent in an area marked no trespassing. There were three people sleeping in the tent at the time and all had been warned not to sleep in the area. All three were arrested and later, released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail.

Samantha Stanford, 21, of Penacook, was arrested at 12:16 p.m. on Nov. 10, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal mischief (vandalism). Officers were called to Village Street for a domestic. The caller reported that her daughter’s boyfriend would not get off her and she had marks on her from him, according to the report. When the officers arrived, they allegedly saw a man on top of Stanford and separated the parties. The man alleged that Stanford, his ex, spent the night and she woke up on the wrong side of the bad. The two got into a verbal altercation which escalated after Stanford allegedly took his cellphone, which the man was trying to get back. The officer reportedly observed scratch marks on the man’s neck and a ripped sweatshirt. Stanford allegedly told officers that she was upset and assaulted the man in the bathroom and ripped his sweatshirt. Another officer asked the man if that was a more accurate description of the incident, and the man allegedly confirmed that it was. While talking with officers, Stanford allegedly admitted to having “an anger issue” and denied being injured in the scuffle. She was later arrested and released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail. Stanford is due in court on Dec. 16.

Rebecca Davis, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 3:01 p.m. on Nov. 12, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration (operating-misd). An officer was called to Perley Street for a welfare check of Davis. Another resident at the home stated that she would be right back since she just went to run an errand. The officer noticed a Dodge Intrepid pull up to the house with Davis allegedly driving. She reportedly told the officer she was OK. However, dispatch told the officer that Davis had a suspended license and registration from Nov. 2, for unsatisfied judgment. Davis allegedly admitted knowing that he privileges were suspended and was arrested. She was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Dec. 23.

Scott Tyler, 21, of Weare, was arrested at 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 13, on three counts of receiving stolen property. The charges stem from incidents on Feb. 11, March 11, and March 12, at the Cash for Gold location on Manchester Street. The items included a gold wedding ring and silver spoons valued at $140. Scott turned himself in to police and was released on $6,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Dec. 23.
