I-93 Re-Opened to Traffic in Concord

Comcast cable line down in the highway was cut to clear the way for traffic.

New Hampshire State Police are reporting that I-93 is clear for traffic on both sides of the highway in Concord.

The highway was closed to traffic after high winds in the area downed a Comcast cable line that crosses over the highway just north of the Portsmouth Street bridge, between NHTI and Northeast Delta Dental.

State police closed off the highway for more than an hour and a half while they waited for Comcast to get to the area to assess the situation. Later, Concord Fire showed up and it was agreed that the best thing to do was to cut the line.
