The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Benjamin Mark Bundy, 28, of Concord, was arrested on Sept. 9, and charged with simple assault, criminal mischief (vandalism), and default or breach of bail conditions. At around 3 p.m. on the date in question, officers were called to a motor vehicle stop. The subject of the stop, Bundy, allegedly told an officer that he was involved in an argument with his girlfriend. The officer reported to the reporting officer that Bundy allegedly “trashed” a trailer and struck the woman in the arm. The officer reported that Bundy had gone into a bathroom “to be alone,” and the woman didn’t want him to and there was a scuffle. The woman allegedly told one of the officers that she did strike Bundy but it was in self-defense. The two were reportedly arguing about employment and finances. Bundy alleged that the woman punched him in the face twice, according to the report. After speaking to both parties and reviewing photos, Bundy was arrested. Since he was out on bail, the breach charge was added. He was held without bail and arraigned on Sept. 10.
  • Joshua E. Stevenson, 30, of Nashua, was arrested at 8:50 a.m. on Oct. 9, and charged with three counts of simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal mischief (vandalism). Officers were called Hebert Street for a welfare check where a woman alleged that her friend’s boyfriend had assaulted her. Dispatch reported that the woman was eight weeks pregnant and she believed she was having a miscarriage. When the officers arrived, the woman was surprised they were there and told them that Stevenson was upstairs sleeping. While speaking with the woman, she stated there had been an altercation and Stevenson allegedly threw her down three times. A broken ceramic frame was also spotted by officers, according to the report. Stevenson came downstairs at that point and was questioned by another officer. The woman reportedly told an officer that Stevenson had been drinking vodka previously and she found the bottle in his backpack. When confronted about the vodka, he allegedly became defensive and pushed her down in a chair and later, on the ground several times. He also allegedly threw a picture frame across the room. She said Stevenson reportedly apologized afterwards and she texted a friend to request her children to be picked up. After the incidents, the woman reported feeling sharp pains and thought she might be having a miscarriage. An officer spoke to a friend about the text message and what she had heard, and the person backed up a lot of what the woman reported. The woman also reportedly stated that the girlfriend didn't want Stevenson arrested due to previous incidents. Another officer spoke to Stevenson and he reportedly confirmed there was an argument but allegedly denied touching the woman. Stevenson was arrested and charged, and held without bail, due to priors.
  • Michele Evans Cassiano, 51, of New Hampton, was arrested at 12:41 p.m. on Oct. 20, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. At the intersection of Loudon Road and the Shell station near Ruby Tuesday, an officer was monitoring the area for U-turn violations. A 2006 Honda Odyssey minivan reportedly made an illegal U-turn at the intersection. The officer pulled the vehicle over outside of Newicks. The driver, Cassiano, allegedly stated that she didn’t see the signs. She handed a Florida license to the officer and reported that she had just moved to the state within the last month. However, Cassiano’s license came back suspended in July 2012, for failing to submit to a chemical test, from a DWI conviction in Florida. She was arrested and later released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. Cassiano has a court date on Dec. 2.
  • Tonie Marie Demiles, 20, of Concord, received a summons at 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 21, for driving after revocation or suspension. An officer observed a 2002 Ford Escape SUV with a temporary plate turn onto Perley Street from South State Street and ran a check on the vehicle. The driver, Demiles, had a suspended license, according to the check, from July 2012. She was pulled over at the CVS parking lot on Water Street and cited. Demiles had a court date on Nov. 18.
  • Molly B. Strempfer, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 11:38 a.m. on Oct. 22, and charged with suspended registration (operating-misd) and driving after revocation or suspension. An officer parked at the Concord Mart on North Main Street saw a Ford Focus drive by with an expired inspection sticker. The car was stopped on I-393 just before Commercial Street. The driver, Strempfer, gave the officer a driver’s license and reportedly stated that she knew that the car failed inspection but thought she had 60 days to get the repair completed. Dispatch noted that Strempfer’s license was suspended on Oct. 10, for a default summons for uninspected vehicle from July. Strempfer was asked about it and allegedly said she sent in a challenge to the summons and had not heard back from DMV. She allegedly said she moved from Bow in May but was unaware of the suspension. She was arrested and released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail. Strempfer was also issued a summons for inspection and charge of address violations. She’s due in court on Dec. 2.
  • Jason Brooks, 34, of Concord, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 23, on a bench warrant. An officer was sent to South State Street to serve a domestic violence order to Brooks and found out prior to arrival that he was wanted on a warrant for nonappearance in court on Jan. 15, with $500 cash to settle. He was arrested and arraigned remotely.
  • Felicia Sweatt, 27, of Concord, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. on Oct. 24, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and disobeying an officer. An officer traveling southbound on South Main Street near West Street observed a sedan traveling the wrong way. The vehicle exited the Tedeschi Food Shop, across the cement island, into the wrong side of the road. The officer initiated a motor vehicle stop and spoke to the person he thought was the driver who had previous run-ins with police. The officer didn’t recognize the woman with the name she was giving and spoke to the passenger who allegedly identified herself as Sweatt. The officer checked Sweatt’s information and found that she had a suspended license from April 29, 2012, in connection with a DWI, and another suspension on May 14, 2013. The booking photo for Sweatt also matched the driver not the passenger, the officer alleged. The officer spoke to both of the parties and the real Sweatt allegedly stated that she knew she shouldn’t have lied about her identity. She was then arrested. The other person was issued a summons for allowing an improper person to operate a vehicle. Sweatt was later released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Dec. 9.
  • Todd Michael Bullock, 49, of Loudon, was arrested at 2:26 p.m. on Oct. 25, on a conduct after an accident charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Hoit Road on Oct. 3, involving a car crash. Bullock turned himself in to police and was processed. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and had a court date on Nov. 18.
  • Walter Irving Healey, 59, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 26, and charged with theft, criminal trespass, and a bench warrant. The charges stem from an alleged incident at 6:39 p.m. on Oct. 15, at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. Police allege that Healey stole a package of Oreo’s valued at $5.29. Video surveillance was taken from the store as evidence, according to the arrest report. Officers were on bike patrol on Storrs Street, field carding a number of people and came across Healey, who had a bench warrant out for his arrest out of Sixth District Court for nonpayment of attorney’s fees. Healey refused bail and was arraigned on Oct. 28.
  • Alec Stuller, 19, of Groton, CT, received a summons at 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 27, for unlawful possession of alcohol. Officers were called to Blake Street for a report of an unwanted guest. Earlier in the evening, officers were called to the same residence for a report of someone knocking on the door where a costume party was going on. The officer spoke to a man in a sheriff’s costume with no shoes on who said he was at the party. The caller didn’t get a description of the person knocking at the door and the man in the costume was let back into the party. The second time, the reporting officer noted that the same man, Stuller, was outside of the residence. This time, the caller alleged that Stuller had “caused problems” and wasn’t welcome back inside despite his girlfriend being inside. Stuller reportedly told the officer that he didn’t have anywhere to stay for the night and the officer alleged that he smelled like alcohol. When a breath test was requested, Stuller said he wouldn’t agree to one and was given a summons, placed into protective custody, and taken to Concord Hospital
