First annual festival draws hundreds from around New England.

is an organization dedicated to the preservation of New Hampshire's unique music culture. Our mission is to raise funds for music programs in the state, through a two-day music festival, while highlighting the diverse bands and ensembles.

The festival is truly a “Granite State” festival, featuring primarily New Hampshire bands and performers, with the exception of one regional act and one national headlining act. In addition to showcasing New Hampshire's musical talent, all of our vendors and subcontractors are from NH, bolstering our local creative economy. Granite State Music Festival has already received much recognition in New Hampshire in its inaugural year. We have been sponsored by both WHEB and WGIR FM, New Hampshire Magazine and we've garnered outstanding press coverage around the state.

Our priority for the first year, was to show New Hampshire that a well organized and high quality festival is a possibility in the capitol city. We invested in the best sound and stage company around, and are still receiving positive feedback about the sound from both ticket holders and musicians.

About 500 people attended from as far away as Pennsylvania (that we know of).

The musicians and bands were outstanding, and we were humbled by the talent on our stages.

Kiwanis Riverside Park was a beautiful spot for a festival and it seems that fun was had by all. We have already started planning for the 2013 festival and are using the lessons learned from this year to make the Granite State Music Festival even more successful and enjoyable for all!

Here are some photos put together by Scott Bulger from the event.
