The previously postponed Black Ice Hockey Tournament at White Park Pond is now underway.
Teams of people were at the pond on Feb. 9, setting up barricades, stands, and preparing to close off streets. Early in the evening, everything was prepared and ready to go.
As a traffic notice, the area around the intersection of White and Washington streets is blocked off to everything but foot traffic. Do adjust your driving pattern to accommodate the blocked off streets.
