VIDEO: Hundreds Attend NH Day of Resistance Gun Rally

Speakers rib VP Biden's comments about shotguns, warn that they won't obey "unconstitutional laws."

Gun owners and constitutionalists across the country held another round of 2nd Amendment rallies on Feb. 23, in an effort to raise awareness about the issue, as well as other rights, while "standing together" against efforts to implement more gun control laws.

In Concord, organizers estimated that there were about 500 people who attended the rally at the Statehouse during the course of two hours. The rally though seemed to have fewer people than previous rallies held in January, where crowds were estimated to be more than 300, though those could have been undercounted.

The themes and speeches, however, were the same as before, with state representatives explaining why they were opposing specific bills in the New Hampshire House, like the "stand your ground" repeal bill (HB 135), and other laws that they claim were unconstitutional.

Speakers also joked about Vice President Joe Biden's lack of knowledge about guns, including his recent remarks that women should just shoot shotguns randomly if they think there might be intruders outside their homes, an act that would be a felony in New Hampshire and dangerous to do, due to the recoil of the weapon when fired.

Here are some video highlights from the rally.
