Testerman Testing Senate Waters

Conservative Republican filed papers with the FEC a week ago.

Social and fiscal conservative Karen Testerman of Franklin is now the second Republican exploring a run for U.S. Senate, with the hope of challenging New Hampshire's senior senator, Jeanne Shaheen, WMUR's James Pindell reports.

Pindell reported that Testerman, the founder of Cornerstone Policy Research and a former candidate for governor, was to have launched her exploratory campaign Aug. 14 in Manchester.

Testerman filed papers with the Federal Election Commission last week. She joins former state Sen. Jim Rubens (R-Hanover) among the Republicans considering a campaign.
