TELL US: How Do You Get Downtown?

Does the new Complete Street redesign fail to meet "multi-modal" transportation opportunities and initiatives?

Next week, the Concord Complete Streets initiative meets in the Concord City Council Chambers at 41 Green St. to hold  third design team meeting

In the wake of the recent presentation and New Hampshire Listens meetings, things have been a bit quiet in the past few weeks.

However, Robert Baker offered a blog post late last week wondering how people were getting into Downtown Concord, especially in the wake of the recent snowstorms which have made access to sidewalks relatively difficult. Baker surmised a few weeks ago that the current design plan fails to meet the criteria for TIGER grant funding, arguing that the plan focuses on drivers and to a lesser extene, pedestrians.

Today we're asking two questions: First, how do you access Main Street? And second, what do you think of the current plan as it is designed? Leave a note in the comment section below.
