Report: Rubio PAC Makes Six Figure Ad Buy for Ayotte in NH

A potential 2016 First-in-the-Nation New Hampshire Primary candidate is now coming to Sen. Kelly Ayotte’s defense with a major ad buy, according to an online news report.

The Daily Caller is reporting that FL Sen. Marco Rubio, a potential GOP presidential candidate, has a political action committee that is dropping “six figures” on an ad defending Ayotte, and reportedly countering claims made in an ad buy from Mayor Michael Bloomberg's PAC, Mayors Against Illegal Guns coalition.

The Reclaim America PAC ads will debut on Tuesday, according to the report. The ad stated that Ayotte voted for expanded background checks and mental health screenings, adding that she stands with "our values."

The ad is the second buy in as many weeks being put forward by conservative groups to help defend Ayotte after she voted against a provision that would have expanded background checks. for ads on WMUR-TV.
