NH Lawmakers to Debate Gambling, Gas Tax in 2014

The Legislature is scheduled to reconvene for 2014 on Wednesday.

Medicaid, casino gambling and the death penalty will all be on the agenda when the New Hampshire Legislature reconvenes for 2014, according to the Associated Press.

The gas tax and marijuana legalization are two other hotly contested issues scheduled to be debated again this year.

The House reconvenes at 10 a.m. Wednesday and the Senate at 1 p.m. The push to add 50,000 people to the Medicaid program in New Hampshire is among the items expected to be taken up by the House on the first day.
