City to Get Employment Security Building

Executive Council OKs sale of South Main, West street properties in Concord.

The Executive Council has OK’d the sale of two state owned properties in Concord, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The Council approved the sale of four properties – the New Hampshire Department of Employment Security building on South Main Street and another Employment Security building on West Street – as well as two others in Manchester.

The city hopes to line up a public/private partnership with a developer for the South Main Street parcel, similar to the Smile Building project developed by Steve Duprey, right across the street.
