Prowling Charges Slapped on Couple

Concord pair allegedly connected to money stolen from a vehicle on Loudon Road.

investigators have connected a Concord couple to a prowling and theft incident at the Morningstar Apartments on Loudon Road in April.

Megan Horsfield, 22, and Jeffrey Paul Johnson, 28, both of Concord, were arrested on May 18, on multiple charges. Horsfield was arrested at 3:45 p.m. and charged with criminal liability for conduct of another, prowling, and default or breach of bail conditions. Johnson was arrested at 4:10 p.m. on North State Street and charged with possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, theft; from a motor vehicle, and prowling.

Police allege that Johnson was in possession of 14 8 milligrams of buprenorphine (sublingual) narcotic analgesic at the time of his arrest.

Police are also alleging that both Horsfield and Johnson are connected to an April 28 incident at the Morning Star Apartments on Loudon Road. Police allege that Johnson stole coins and cash totaling $10 from a vehicle at the apartments. Horsfield was charged with criminal liability charge in relation to the theft charge. The victims in the case were a man and woman from Concord.

Both Horsfield and Johnson had court dates on May 21.
