The complainant alleged that she was at her boyfriend’s apartment on North State Street earlier in the day. The woman stated that Svoboda allegedly had been drinking with another person and was intoxicated. Svoboda reportedly became angered with her about text messages she received from an ex back in February and was yelling at her. The two began to argue and then Svoboda allegedly came after her.

The other person in the home tried to stop him but was unable to, according to the woman, and Svoboda alleged grabbed her by the neck with both hands and lifting her off the ground.

“(The woman) said that she could not breathe at this time,” the officer reported.

The woman reportedly ran into a bedroom and hid under a bed while Svoboda allegedly followed her and the other person tried to stop him. Svoboda allegedly told the woman he wasn’t done with her and reportedly pulled at her and grabbed her throat again and held her nose so she couldn’t breathe.

The woman stated that he later allegedly kicked her in the stomach, punched her in the ribs three times, and tried to push her out of a second floor window.

At some point, she lost consciousness but awoke to Svoboda allegedly slapping her face, yelling that she was “a slut” and should die.

Later in the morning, Svoboda went to work in Bow, according to the woman.

The officer reported that the woman had red marks on her neck, swelling under a left eye, a cut lower lip, marks on her nose, and other injuries. The woman later went to the hospital to get checked.

The witness, according to officers, reportedly acknowledged the two arguing after drinking and alleged seeing Svoboda slap the woman a couple of times.

“He said he had a lot to drink and was very drunk,” the officer wrote.

Bow Police arrested Svoboda and he was transported to the Concord Police Department. He was released on $5,000 cash bail posted by his mother.

Svoboda was arrested on a warrant in June 2012. In April 2005, he was arrested in Dover and charged of habitual offender and resisting arrest, according to Seacoastonline.com
