Details are limited at post time, but the chase started around 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, after an alleged hit-and-run incident at the I-89, I-93 interchange at Bow junction, according to state trooper scanner chatter.

Troopers chased the vehicle, being driven by a woman, at a high rate of speed down I-93 South. At a little past 7 p.m., WMUR-TV reported that investigators were at the scene of an “police-involved shooting” at the intersection of Dave Street and Kennard Road, off Mammoth Road in North Manchester, between Exits 9 and 10 on I-93. The shooting, WMUR reported, was from the previous chase that started in Bow.

According to photos taken by Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography, who was at the scene, at least one person, a woman, was taken away in an ambulance. At least 11 bullet holes were seen in the windshield of the sedan.

At just before 8 p.m., WMUR-TV reported that police told them that none of their personnel were injured during the chase or shooting, and that the female driver had been transported to the hospital.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office has also been called to the scene to investigate the shooting.

The vehicle reportedly belonged to a man from Allenstown, according to scanner traffic, with people at the scene reporting that they didn’t think the woman was going make it.
