Concord Sex Offender Caught in NY

U.S. Marshals pickup James Wiggins on numerous registration violations charges earlier this week.

A registered sex offender from Concord was arrested in Vernon, NY, earlier this week by U.S. Marshals, according to WKTV-TV News.

James E. Wiggins, 42, of Concord, was arrested and charged with violation of probation out of Merrimack County and “numerous felony and misdemeanor violations of the New Hampshire Sex Offender Registration laws” from the Concord Police Department.

According to the post, investigators received reports that Wiggins might be living in the Oneida area in the central part of New York. The information was given to the NY/NJ Fugitive Regional Task Force and marshals caught up with him in Vernon on Feb. 10.

According to HomeFacts.com, Wiggins is a registered sex offender who reportedly was involved in a felonious sexual assault of a victim under 18 in the late 1980s.
