Concord Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer

Michelle Leclerc faces numerous felony counts; allege that while on parole, she was selling heroin and other substances.

A Concord woman will be arraigned later today on a number of charges after the Concord Police Drug Enforcement unit arrested her on drug and probation charges.

Michelle Leclerc, 40, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 20, and Aug. 23, and charged with two counts of possession of controlled drugs, one a felony, two counts of possession with intent to distribute, both felonies, two counts of felon in possession of a danger weapon, a felony, and a probation violation.

According to police, last week, a drug investigation on Leclerc began after state probation and parole officials checked in on her at the Cherry Street apartment where she had been living. While in the apartment, probation officers allegedly found “drug paraphernalia” and a brown substance that officials thought was heroin. A large folding knife was also allegedly found, according to a report.

The drug unit then went in and arrested Leclerc, who refused bail and was transported to Merrimack County House of Corrections. She was arraigned on Aug. 20, and released on personal recognizance bail but later held by a parole detainer request.

Police then requested a search warrant of her apartment and allegedly found cash and drugs, according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit of the department.

The detectives also located a pair of brass knuckles inside the apartment.”

Leclerc was later charged with new counts on Aug. 23.

Leclerc is being held at the New Hampshire State Prison for Women in Goffstown, and will be arraigned in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Aug. 26.
