ARRESTS: Concord Man Arrested at Buffalo Wild Wings

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Katrina Melanson, 22, of Concord, was arrested at 7:24 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2012, on an operating without valid license charge. While parked at Arnie’s Place on Loudon Road, an officer allegedly observed a Jeep Cherokee traveling north on Gate Street, then stop, and turn around, heading back into the driveway of a home on Gates Street. The officer wrote that he had received complaints about “suspicious activity” on the street with people parking on the street, crossing Loudon Road over to the Morningstar Apartments, and then returning to vehicles a short time later. The officer ran the plate and realized that it was Melanson’s car and he knew that she allegedly did not have a valid license. The officer went over to the car, allegedly observed Melanson alone in the Jeep, and arrested her. According to the report, during a search, the officer allegedly found a canister in her bra. Tests on the substance in the canister came back negative for drugs, according to the report. Melanson was later released on $750 personal recognizance bail and was arraigned on Jan. 7.
  • Carey J. Spear, 41, of Concord, was arrested at 9:32 p.m. on Dec. 9, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. According to an arrest report, officers were called to Crestwood Drive for a report of a domestic. An officer alleged that Spear was very intoxicated at the scene. Another officer spoke to Spear’s wife who reported that she went to pick him up after an appointment and he was allegedly drunk and she was upset by that. The two started arguing at the appointment location, on the ride home, and at home, where the two allegedly got into a shoving match and she later called police. An officer alleged that while talking to Spear, he became aggressive towards them and they arrested him. Spear was later released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail.
  • Timothy J. Byron, 24, of Concord, was arrested at 10:46 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2012, on a violation of a protective order, penalty, and default or breach of bail conditions. According to an arrest report, an officer was called to Buffalo Wild Wings on Loudon Road for a report of a possible stalking violation protection order. The complainant, an employee at the restaurant, was on his day off and having drinks with friends when he realized that a man that he had a restraining order against was in the restaurant. The man, who lives in Contoocook, stated that he was reportedly having issues with his ex and allegedly got into a verbal argument with Byron over the phone. The result of the conversation was the man taking out a restraining order against Byron. The man produced a restraining order from October that stated that Byron was to stay 30 yards away from the man and away from his employment, according to the report. The man pointed to Byron who was allegedly sitting at the bar with his ex. The officer approached Byron and asked him to step outside, which he reportedly did, along with the ex-girlfriend. The officer alleged that the ex-girlfriend stated that she called the restaurant in advance to make sure her ex was not working that day so that she and Byron could dine there. The restaurant reportedly told her it was her ex’s day off. After some back and forth between all parties, Byron was arrested. Later, the officer reported that Byron was reportedly out on bail from Oct. 21, 2012, after an alleged harassment incident in Hopkinton. The breach of bail charge was then added to the complaint. Byron was held without bail and arraigned on Dec. 11, 2012.
  • Tiffany A. Bovio, 22, of Concord, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. on Dec. 16, 2012, on driving after revocation or suspension and driving without giving proof charges. According to an arrest report, an officer was traveling on North State Street near Lake Street when he allegedly saw a Ford Escort pass by him with a green November 2012 inspection sticker on the car’s windshield. When the officer asked her for a driver’s license, Bovio allegedly produced a Texas driver’s license. Dispatch reportedly told the officer that her driving privileges were suspended in New Hampshire on June 26, 2012, for failure to attend motor vehicle hearing with the DMV. Bovio was then arrested. The owner of the vehicle, who was reportedly in the passenger seat, took possession of the vehicle. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000 and Bovio was arraigned on Jan. 14.
  • Andrew R. Moore, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 2:01 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2012, on an unlawful possession of alcohol charge. The charge stems from an alleged sale on Aug. 2, 2012, at the Market Basket on Storrs Street. Police reportedly obtained video of the sale from the store. Moore was released on $750 personal recognizance bail and arraigned on Dec. 31, 2012.
  • Robert Glenn Correllus, 67, of Concord, was arrested at 3:51 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2012, and charged with criminal trespass and obstructing the report of a crime or injury. The charges stem from an alleged incident on Nov. 16, 2012, on Stevens Drive. The alleged victims in the case were a man and a teenager, both from Concord, who were acquaintances. Correllus was arraigned on Jan. 14.
  • Cynthia Saxon Hoffman, 48, of Rumney, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2012, on disorderly conduct charge. Officers were called to the Vegas Block on North Main Street for a woman causing a disturbance in the building. The reporting officer noted that he had been allegedly called to the building previously in the evening, allegedly to deal with Saxon Hoffman. During the first call, Saxon Hoffman reportedly called 911 because a friend had become intoxicated in the apartment she was in and had fallen on the floor. Concord Fire and Rescue teams were called in to assist. During the earlier call, Saxon Hoffman was allegedly yelling at the officers and calling them names. The officer explained to her that if she continued to yell and disturb other people in the building, she would be arrested. Other officers reportedly had dealings with her earlier in the evening too, alleging that she pulled fire alarms in the building, causing the fire department to respond. According to the report, on this occasion, three officers responded to the building and met with Saxon Hoffman who was allegedly standing in the hallway with a bottle of vodka in her hand, allegedly cursing at the officers. She was taken into custody and warned if she didn’t stop cursing, she would be charged. The elevator in the building was not working so officers had to take the stairs and Saxon Hoffman was reportedly upset over this. She also was allegedly yelling at a pizza delivery woman. She was arrested and charged but refused bail and was taken to Merrimack County House of Correction.
  • Danyelle Lynn Nevin, of Gilmanton, 21, was arrested at 10:50 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2012, on two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, and two counts of receiving stolen property. The charges stem from alleged incidents at Rite Aid and CVS on Oct. 25. Police allege that Nevin stole a VISA debit card and a driver’s license, and a gift card worth $85. The alleged victim was a Concord woman who was a stranger. She was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail.
  • Robert Lawrence McGrath, 52, of Derry, received a summons at 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2012, on a default or breach of bail conditions from Concord District Court. In a report, an officer stated that on June 20, 2012, a warrant was issued for McGrath’s arrest. The officer found out from the Merrimack County House of Corrections on May 29, 2012. He reportedly tried calling McGrath but his cellphone was reportedly disconnected. The officer then was able to get in touch with pre-trial services about McGrath and found out that he had not signed up yet but did get a number for McGrath’s girlfriend who reportedly passed on information to him. McGrath allegedly called the officer back and agreed to turn himself in but failed to do so according to a report. On Dec. 13, 2012, McGrath was arrested and taken into custody at the Rockingham County Jail. He was arraigned by video on Dec. 20, 2012.
