ARRESTS: Canterbury Man Faces Theft by Deception Charges

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Anthony J. Dashnaw, 62, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 13, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. He was arrested at 8:10 p.m. on South Spring Street. The alleged victim in the case was his adult son, a Concord man. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Dashnaw is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 17.
  • Wess Edmund Aldrich, 30, of Concord, was arrested at 8:58 a.m. on Sept. 5, and charged with second-degree assault (personal weapons) and simple assault (personal weapons). Police allege that Aldrich assaulted his girlfriend, a Concord woman, and her daughter, a Concord girl, at around 10:15 p.m. on Aug. 30, on Alice Drive. Personal recognizance bail was set at $12,000 and Aldrich is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • Shaun P. Drew, 30, of Concord, was arrested at 9:24 a.m. on Sept. 5, and charged with being a habitual offender, default or breach of bail conditions, a bench warrant, a warrant felony charge, and warrant misdemeanor charge. He was arrested on Branch Turnpike Road. The alleged victim was a Concord woman. Drew had a court date on Sept. 5.
  • Sara W. Gregg, 34, of Concord, was arrested on Sept. 5, and charged with driving after registration or suspension and suspended registration (operating-misd). She was arrested at 9:47 a.m. at the intersection of Loudon Road and Blodgett Street. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Gregg is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • Nathan Peters Ledoux, 24, of Concord, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. on Sept. 5, and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and driving after revocation or suspension. The charges stem from alleged incidents at the CVS on Hall Street on Aug. 30. Police allege that Ledoux stole various sexual performance enhancement supplements. Personal recognizance bail was set at $3,000 and Ledoux is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • Jessicka Lynn Turner, 25, of Concord, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. on Sept. 5, and charged with second-degree assault (personal weapons), a felony, and reckless conduct (place another in danger). The charge stems from an alleged incident at 4:20 p.m. at Fletcher Murphy Park on Fayette Street on Aug. 30. The allege victim in the case was a Concord woman who was an acquaintance. Personal recognizance bail was set at $10,000. Turner is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • Angela Schwartz, 27, of Northwood, was issued a summons at 9:20 a.m. on Sept. 6, for driving after revocation or suspension at Peasant and Chesley streets. She is due in court on Oct. 22.
  • Dustin Cameron Calley, 21, of Concord, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. on Sept. 6, and charged with sale of controlled drugs, a felony. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Nov. 30, 2011, at the Red Apple Buffet on Loudon Road. Police allege that five doses of Subutex were seized as evidence. Cash bail was set at $5,000 and he had a court date on Sept. 6.
  • Ryan Michael Smith, 22, of Boscawen, was arrested 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 6, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. He was arrested at Sixth Circuit District Division Court. He refused bail and had a court date on Sept. 7.
  • Brandon John Lamprey, 23, of Canterbury, was arrested 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 6, on three counts of theft by deception from Walmart on Loudon Road on Aug. 12, and Aug. 22. Police allege that he stole gift cards valued at $290 and $90 worth of food. He was held without bail and had a court date on Sept. 7.
  • Jane Marie Chmiel, 51, of Dunbarton, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. on Sept. 6, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons), three counts of disorderly conduct, and criminal threatening (intimidating, etc.). The charges stem from an incident at Terrill Park Drive earlier in the afternoon and another incident at Exit 17 on I-93. The alleged victim in the case was a Concord woman. She was held on $2,000 cash bail and had a court date on Sept. 7.
  • Lion Lunn, 20, of Fair Oaks, Calif., was issued a summons at 12:50 a.m. on Sept. 6, for unlawful possession of alcohol. The charge relates to an incident at McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street. Lunn is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 1.
  • Charles Carson, 54, of Concord was summonsed at 10:26 a.m. on Sept. 6, on a negligent driving charge. He was pulled over on Aug. 31, at North State Street. An elderly man from Salisbury was the alleged victim in the case. Carson is due in court on Oct. 22.
  • Joshua Glen Manias, 18, of Boscawen, was issued a summons at 1:05 a.m. on Sept. 6, on a warrant while outside Dunkin’ Donuts on Loudon Road.
  • Christopher Botta, 38, of New London, was arrested at 3:36 p.m. on Sept. 6, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. The charges stems from an alleged incident at 5:30 p.m. on July 25, at the Holiday Inn on North Main Street. The alleged victim was a male acquaintance. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Botta is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • Tammy L. Raub, 39, of Sanborton, was arrested on Sept. 6, on a criminal mischief charge. She was arrested at 12:52 p.m. on Rumford Street. Police allege that Raub destroyed or damaged a window valued at $200. The alleged victim was her ex-husband, a Concord man. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Raub is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • David S. Bernard, 30, of Concord, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. on Sept. 6, on driving after revocation or suspension and negligent driving charges. He was arrested at 6:27 p.m. at the Hess Station on Hall Street. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Bernard is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • Jared Wayne McGuire-Wiegand, 19, of Concord, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. on Sept. 6, and charged with possession of controlled drugs and a bench warrant. Police allege that the Concord High School senior was in possession of 1.5 grams of marijuana when he was arrested at the Burger King at Hall Street. The bench warrant was from Aug. 31. Personal recognizance bail was set at $3,000. McGuire-Wiegand is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 15.
  • Charles Lewis Peavey, 47, of Concord, was arrested at 9:51 p.m. on Sept. 6, on a criminal trespass charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 4:15 p.m. on July 27, at JC Penny at the Steeplegate Mall. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Duguay is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 17.
  • 23, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 26, and charged with resisting arrest or detention and simple assault (personal weapons). He was arrested on Maple Street. The alleged victim in the case was a Concord Police officer. Personal recognizance bail was set at $5,000 and Wise is due in court on Oct. 1.
  • Charles Soltani, 17, of Epsom, was arrested on Aug. 27, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge. He was arrested at 7 a.m. at Walmart on Loudon Road. Police allege that Soltani stole miscellaneous items valued at $547.29. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Soltani is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Oct. 1.
