  • Amanda McIntosh, 29, of Ashland, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. on June 22, on felony possession of controlled drugs and theft charges. An officer was sent to Sears on Loudon Road for a shoplifter in custody. A loss prevention officer alleged that McIntosh selected a number of clothing items, valued at $100, concealed them, and exited the store without paying for them. McIntosh was allegedly “mouthy” when confronted about the incident, according to the employee, but she eventually came back to the store. During a search, several prescription bottles were found, according to police, along with a pill crusher with white powder and a straw. McIntosh reportedly told the officer that she had been in a car accident and hurt her hip. She had a prescription but the doctor cancelled it, she stated, adding that the pills were her uncle’s. The officer reported there were 45 15 mg tablets of Oxycondone in the bottle. McIntosh was released on $7,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on July 29.

After talking about the case with Blanche at his home, the officer informed him of the warrant. During the interaction with Blanch, he allegedly went to reach into a dresser for bail money but the officer wanted to check the drawer first. Blanche reportedly told the officer, you watch too much television, the report stated. The officer checked the drawer but there was no money in it. Blanche was arrested. Later, money was found in another drawer. Blanche also reportedly insisted that the warrant issue was settled. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in Franklin District Court on July 29.
  • Jillian Taylor, 22, of Concord, was arrested at 8 p.m. on June 25, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. An officer spoke with two roommates of Taylor’s who alleged that earlier in the evening, there was an argument between one of the roommates and Taylor concerning missing money at the Pleasant Street apartment. During the interaction, Taylor allegedly became outraged and grabbed the back of the neck of one of the roommates and punched her several times. Officers went to the apartment to speak to Taylor who was “still very emotional charged about the incident,” according to the officer. During conversations with the officer, Taylor allegedly admitted that the altercation was physical and she was taken into custody. She was later released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on July 29. After being released, officers stood by while Taylor reportedly retrieved items from the apartment and vacated the premises.
  • George L. Whiting, 26, of Penacook, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. on June 26, on a felony receiving stolen property charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident on May 16, concerning about $15,000 worth of brass and scrap metal stolen from Beede Electric on Village Street and submitted to Schnitzer Northeast on Sandquist Street. Officers were called to the Rite Aid on South Street for a report of a person trespassing. A store employee pointed officers to Welcome near the Western Union desk with a man. Welcome, the officer reported, was served with a no trespass order on June 18. Welcome was arrested and taken into custody. While in custody, a warrant out of Laconia District Court for nonappearance in court on a disobeying an officer charge from earlier in the day was flagged, with $500 cash to settle. Welcome refused bail and was arraigned on June 27.
  • Megan Ashley Robinson, 27, of Concord, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. on June 29, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and criminal mischief (vandalism). Officers were dispatched to North State Street for a domestic disturbance. The officers made contact with a group of individuals sitting on a porch of the apartment building. A man who lived at the building reported that he and his girlfriend, Robinson, had been arguing previously about their relationship and finances. He alleged that she had been drinking and was angry with him, accusing him of having an affair with another woman who was at the apartment at the time. Things later became physical with Robinson allegedly hitting the man in the head, drawing blood, according to the report. The officers observed an abrasion on the right side of his forehead and blood on his white T-shirt. Later, after the man alleged that Robinson had been “destroying the house,” officers saw a table turned over on the porch, a lamp that was broken upstairs, and a grill that was damaged outside. Witnesses reportedly corroborated the man’s version of events, according to the report. Officers went to speak with Robinson who was next door at a family member’s house. She reportedly denied that the argument became physical. Officers alleged that while talking with Robinson, they “began to openly question the validity of (her story).” After talking to other witnesses, she was arrested. Later, she was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 5.
  • Ethan Bryan, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. on June 30, and charged with possession of controlled drugs, possession of drugs, and driving after revocation or suspension. An officer on patrol on North State Street near the cemetery came across a 1998 Mercury Marquis that was “swerving from side to side” and tapping on the brake light. The officer stopped the car and while talking to the driver, Bryan, alleged that his pupils were enlarged. Dispatch revealed that Bryan’s license had been suspended on May 2, for indefinite suspension. Bryan allegedly said he thought it had been reinstated. He was then arrested. Another officer allegedly found a Mason jar with a Ziplock bag in it that contained marijuana, in the passenger seat back pocket. A pipe was also allegedly found. The female passenger in the car denied any knowledge of the drugs or the pipe. Bryan, at first, allegedly denied knowledge about the marijuana, but later allegedly admitted that he owned both items, so the drug charges were added. At headquarters, Bryan was given a field sobriety test that he passed, according to the report. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 5. He was also cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
