New Class at Sharing Yoga - Pranayama and Yoga Nidra: A Proven Road to Health and Balance in Life
Join us for an in depth study and practice of Pranayama and Yoga Nidra; The Science of Breath and Conscious Sleep. We’ll learn and practice various breathing techniques (pranayama) to positively affect our autonomic nervous system, stress levels, blood pressure, heart rate, metabolism, and weight management. It can help increase our concentration and memory. We’ll learn and practice the preliminary steps for Yoga Nidra in order to relax the nervous system, develop self-awareness and combat the effects of aging. Anyone with an interest in these methods is welcomed and no experience is necessary.
