Garcia to Run for U.S. Congress
Salem state rep. filed paperwork Monday to run for the Republican nomination in New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District.
State Rep. Marilinda Garcia, R-Salem, announced that she will be seeking the Republican nomination in the 2nd Congressional District, the seat currently held by U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-Hopkinton.

In a press statement, the New Hampshire Democratic Party stated that Garcia would bring a "reckless" approach to Washington, D.C.
