Gibson's Bookstore on South Main Street in Concord is getting ready to move down the street to its new location at 45 S. Main St.
Store owner Michael Herrmann and other employees were seen loading crates into the store on Friday. Herrmann said the crates will be filled with books and moved to the new store starting on Aug. 26.
The store, Herrmann said, will be closed for browsing for about a week and will re-open at the new location on Sept. 3. In between, staff at the store will be available for anyone interested in buying new releases.
