Concord’s Ninety Nine Restaurant to Get 'Refreshed'

Items on the walls, shelves are being auctioned off through Sept. 25, with the proceeds going to Concord public schools.

You know all those funky tchotchkes, paintings, and signs adorning walls and shelves of the chain of Ninety Nine Restaurants?

Well, in Concord, they are all being put up for auction through Wednesday, Sept. 25, with all the proceeds being donated to Concord public schools.

The Ninety Nine in Concord is going to be “refreshed,” according to a press statement from the company, with “modern amenities,” in an effort to keep up with "the ever-changing tastes of the guests" while still maintaining all the things customers love about the restaurant.

The items are still hanging on the walls with numbers next to them. Customers that see something they might like can go to the notebook set up near the host’s station and offer a bid, in $10 increments, for the item. The winning bids on Sept. 25, will get the items. After all the items are taken down and given to the winning bidders, the restaurant will be spruced up a bit.

The Concord restaurant is located on 60 D’Amante Drive. Hours for bidding are Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
