I-93 In Concord Backed Up For Miles

A rollover accident on I-93 southbound between Exit 16 and 17 in Concord on Oct. 31, caused a massive traffic jam on the highway.
Concord Fire and Rescue teams and state police were called to the scene at around 3:15 p.m. The highway was down to a single lane for at least 45 minutes waiting for a wrecker to clear the accident.
Traffic was backed up to Exit 17, about three miles from the accident.
According to scanner chatter, two cars were involved in the accident but only one rolled over. The Concord ladder truck and ambulance left the scene about 30 minutes after the call came in.
