Saddness on the Concord Heights

I am so sad right now.  Ijust received news that Louie, the owner of the Windmill Restaurant has passed away as of this morning.   What a tragic loss!  Louie did so much, he had the biggest heart in helping to make Thanksgiving so wonderful for those who would not have a reason to enjoy Thanksgiving.  He made sure that anyone who was alone, didn't have money to eat on Thanksgiving, or no reason to smile could come to his restaurant on Thanksgiving, enjoy a full turkey meal with all the fixins and be greeted with a big smile and Happy Thanksgiving.   He was always smiling.  He was a personal friend and I will miss him terribly.  Cancer is a nasty disease and it seems that we will never find a cure.   The funeral is Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with calling hours from 3-8 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home.      I will do a bigger story soon on this ICON on Loudon Road.
