Teens Arrested, Charged In Penacook Stabbing Incident

Police say more arrests likely.

have arrested five people after an investigation into a stabbing assault in Penacook on Dec. 3.

According to a press release, at about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to a apartment complex on Heartwood Lane for a report of a man being the victim of a first-degree assault. Upon arrival, police found a 24-year-old man with life threatening injuries, who was later transported to the hospital.

The police investigated the incident and found that “several individuals were involved” in the disturbance at the apartment complex.

As a result of the investigation, , 17, of Concord, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. on Dec. 7, on Main Street, and charged with First Degree Assault, Riot, Resisting Detention/Arrest, and Criminal Threatening. He refused bail and will be arraigned on Dec. 8.

According to police, while attempting to take Burley into custody, three women were arrested and charged.

Candace McDonald, 43, of Milford, was charged with Hindering Apprehension and Resisting Detention/Arrest; Joyce Barron, 22, of Concord, was charged with Hindering Apprehension and Disorderly Conduct; and Savannah Bouffard, 23, of Concord, was charged with Hindering Apprehension and Possession of Controlled Drug.

Police allege that McDonald, Barron, and Bouffard “attempted to conceal Burley’s presence while detectives were attempting to place him under arrest.” The three were released on personal recognizance bail and are expected in court on Jan. 23, 2012.

This is reportedly not the first time Burley has had problems with the law. On Sept. 26, he was arrested on a Disorderly Conduct charge at White Park.

Also arrested in the case was , 18, of Concord, who was arrested on Dec. 6, and charged with Riot and Resisting Detention/Arrest. He was held and arraigned on Dec. 7.

According to police documents, Sajko has also been arrested in the past. On Sept. 25, Sajko was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief (Vandalism), Possession Of Controlled Drugs, and False Imprisonment. On Oct. 28, he was picked up on a Bench Warrant.

Police say that they expect more arrests in the case.
