Shoot him. They aren't going to run after them and risk getting well needed exercise. Wigglesworth is lucky he didn't run, would be reading shot and killed for trying to escape.   more ›

Firefighters Back Casino Bill

Union officials and state representatives who are firefighters urge passage of SB 152.

The leadership of one of New Hampshire’s largest unions, the Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire, came out in favor of a casino gambling proposal earlier today that faces a contentious floor fight in the House on Wednesday. Union President David Lang, the president of the union, as well as a number of firefighters, some who are also state representatives, said they were backing the measure because revenue from the proposal was badly needed to pay for public safety, health services, and infrastructure. Lang said the money from a casino was needed to fund "an effective, efficient government" in the state.  "We hear in this building and the one across the street that public safety is a priority," he said at a news conference at the …

You old conservatives need to wake up! this is 2013 not the 1800's.NH and Vermont are the only states in the East coast that are way behind in the times of moving forward.   more ›
