I read this in his non-comment, "I cannot condone nor support the actions of what has beenRead More reported." Obviously they have some family problems and that is sad. I'm glad she is trying to get help. I hope things get better. Just copy and then paste the following into your browser address bar. Better times. From Jordan's Facebook that probably should be taken down. It can't help the councilman's small pond political aspirations. Remember, she is 21 now. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/t31.0-8/p960x960/10355693_10202556155448208_4093156834010421115_o.jpg

If you see something, report it - that's the only hope anyone has of cleaning up Concord. TheRead More riff-raff CAN be dealt with and driven out. Also interesting to note the summons for "LOITERING" ! Since this IS actually illegal, why isn't it being enforced downtown, all day every day ??
JPF 2361 July 23, 2014 at 02:58 pm
I find this arrest report very interesting, "Pierce Makuen Osgood, 17, of Warren Street inRead More Concord, received a summons at 2:20 p.m. on June 10, for loitering. Officers were sent to the Cumberland Farms on North State Street for a report of people drinking alcohol. The first arriving officer went around to the back of the building and found three individuals, including Osgood, who allegedly “seemed to be very lethargic and it was clearly evident that (she) was impaired.” The officer and Osgood went back and forth about the level of alcohol she had in her system and later, she was given a summons." WHY wasn't this 17 year old ARRESTED like other Juveniles have been for the very same offense. Why wasn't she given a breathalyzer test? Why was she JUST ISSUED A SUMMONS for Loitering when the Cops suspected she had been drinking?? Do the Concord PD give breaks to certain people??

I wish Concord would make more bicycle trails / paths. They are so few and limited it would beRead More great for everyone.
Nicole Spooner July 22, 2014 at 05:54 pm
It's not just the drivers. Parents need to teach their children bike safety, or watch them better.Read More We have an entire complex over at Jennings Dr where no one watches their children. They ride around with no helmets and no regard for the rules. I've personally seen many of them come tearing down the hill and never look before crossing the road to Grappone Park. Some of these kids are only 5 or 6 years old. Most of them are 9-11 and should know better!
SPH July 22, 2014 at 07:34 pm
Indeed, robo hiker. There must be a severe shortage of white paint in Concord, all around. MaybeRead More they were buying it at Market Basket.

While arrests and crimes may not technically be covered up, Concord's lawmakers, politicians andRead More police force seem to have a hush hush attitude when it comes to crime and the city's image and their role in it. It's my opinion that they only comply with the media because they HAVE to, not because they want to. I'm sure others feel the same as I do. Although, no matter where you stand on the issues and attitudes of the powers that be in Concord, I'm sure we all agree on one thing. Let's get this damn drug problem in Concord beat ASAP before we start looking like Manchester, Nashua and northern Mass. It's getting bad, folks. Let's keep on our officials to ramp it up and root out the scum.

If it wasn't a random act, wouldn't that mean that the victim knows the assailant? If that's theRead More case, why can't you just ask him who did it?
Sally Jo Laubscher July 20, 2014 at 08:20 pm
This is a darn shame - I got married in that Park last summer and I worked at the Law School rightRead More across the street for five years. Who would have ever thought something like this would happen there.

now they are putting there lic in cities in towns in jeopardy public health and safty goes to showRead More how uneducated most workers are and there putting there bills and familes and morgatges on the line. a huge private equity firm will buy them out plus all the suppliers will sue them and care if there employees showed up I guarantee market basket could can everyone and have all new hires in a week so many temp firms have people that can fill those needs. its a bad move for the employees and as a fam run firm there too big for local voice.

It was reported on WMUR TV last night that there were several males playing a (sick) game to see howRead More many girls they could have sex with. This SCUMBALL chose to prey on a MINOR as she is only 15.
Tony Schinella July 17, 2014 at 12:42 pm
There will be more to this investigation coming soon. I was given the sex game info on backgroundRead More and so it wasn't published. It's one of the reasons police are asking anyone with more information to come forward, since there could be other victims or incidents.
Brit Green July 17, 2014 at 01:09 pm
I imagine it was very hard to come forward with these allegations in such a small community. I amRead More disgusted with the comment suggesting that the young woman was "sticking it to him". It is this kind of thinking that continues to feed the rape culture in our society.

Watched this idiot pull out of the parking lot at the track going about 50 around a crowd of people.Read More Squealing his tires and driving like a maniac. Was no surprise to drive up the road about 45 minutes later to see his truck on the side of the road destroyed.

I used to work at a food court at the track for Bishop Brady HS. We sold beer, soda, burgers, dogs,Read More etc. That beer line was the longest....none stop! I'm not saying you can't have a few beers at the track, but I saw up close some of these people....the one's who got very pissed when I refused them due to them being so dam drunk. How many of them must have driven home I wonder??? I tried to stop them from drinking, but they'd yell at me, and just go to the next beer stand to buy. I only did that for 2 years....not for me anymore, sorry.

In response to "over it" my answer would be until he gets the help every addict needs.Read More They do not have the ability to just stop whether it be psycological or physical. NH needs more treatment facilities to deal with the real problem instead of throwing them in our already over crowded jails. I really thought somebody was defecating on the sidewalk not urinating outside, in the dark withRead More nobody around but the Concord Police. GREAT way to spend the taxpayer dollars. Money would be better spent tackling the NOISY autos with aftermarket exhausts, NH Plate WAANB and motorcycles with the baffles removed. BTW, If I hear another officer say that the noise problem is a CIVIL ISSUE I will scream.
JPF 2361 July 9, 2014 at 07:37 pm
The CPD needs to undertstand that DISTURBING THE PEACE is a Police Issue as they can be arrested forRead More this, it is not a Civic Issue. You should get the Cop's name and badge number and then call the Chief and complain. Some of these new cops don't look old enough to drive let alone carry a gun.

I disagree that his legacy can be summed up with his arrest record. By the way, the arrest recordRead More has zero references on it. If you want to talk about shoddy, mean-spirited reporting on a dead guy, this is it. If you want to make a point about his arrest record, how about some references and specifics rather than generic handwaving? The article makes you think that this is some homeless criminal who we are all better off without, and I just don't think that this article has made that case or should be making that case. To the rest of you making jokes and poking fun, I think you should be extremely worried at the content of your character where you appear to enjoy cheering someone else's tragic death. I'm aware that being online increases the jerk factor, but this makes me ashamed of my fellow locals.
