The 38th annual Concord Grange Community Awards Night scheduled for April 21, has been postponed due to a death Master Dick Patten's family and also affects other members of the Grange.
The decision was made due to the death of Phyllis Patten Taylor, who resided in Danbury, died suddenly Sunday at New London Hospital.
The family has asked Dick Patten to deliver the main Eulogy Monday, evening at the Chadwick Funeral Home in New London at 7 p.m.
The Grange will reschedule the awards night to Monday, May 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Concord.
Dick Patten has been trying to contact everyone who would be coming to receive awards. If you do get there Monday, please know that efforts were made to contact you.
