5 Things to Know About This Weekend in Concord

  1. Is it Going to Warm Up? It looks possible. The National Weather Service is forecasting mostly sunny skies on Saturday with highs in the mid-40s. Overnight, expect temps to drop back down into the 20s. On Sunday, more sun with highs in the mid-to-upper-30s. Lows drop down into the teens on Sunday night.
  2. Looking for Fresh Food? There are two farmers’ markets in the area this weekend. Cole Gardens holds its market at 10 a.m. on Saturday; the Tilton Winter Farmers’ Market is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
  3. Who's Up for a Story? Stories, crafts, and fun for the kids at Storytime at Gibson’s Bookstore at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
  4. Care to Dance? Or at least watch? St. Paul’s School will hold a ballet workshop at the Oates Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
  5. Heading Out of the City? Check out the 5 Things to do around New Hampshire post for more ideas. Also, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, it’s AARP Day at the Millyard Museum in Manchester. And Sunday at 2 p.m., there’s a paper folding class at the Kalily Studio in Epsom.
