Below is the original post:

A car accident on Route 3 has caused an outage for Public Service of New Hampshire customers, according to the company.

At around 4:30 p.m., nearly all of Allenstown, more than 1,700 customers, were without power. About two-thirds of Epsom, 379 customers, were without power. Seven hundred customers in Hooksett were also without power. Nearly half of Pembroke was without power, more than 1,500 customers.

PSNH reported on Twitter that the cause of the outage was a car that struck a utility pole on Route 3.

So far, Unitil has reported no outages in Concord and only reported minor outages in the southeastern part of the state, about 45 households in Atkinson, Hampton, and Newton.
